Located in beautiful and tranquil Port Alto, "Seas the Bay" is your place to get away. Only 20 minutes away from all the amenities of Port Lavaca or Palacios, but far enough to really "Get Away!" This 1800 square foot 3 king bedroom, 2 full bath house has spacious indoor living, and plenty of outdoor living areas to hang out with friends and family, or to sneak off to your own spot for some quiet time.
A well known area for fishing, hunting, and bird watching, Port Alto is a hidden jewel.

Summary: The property is very accommodating. We only used for overflow sleeping quarters while visiting our parents for Thanksgiving, but the property has everything you would need for a fun summer visit. We plan on returning!

Summary: Weather was great, fishing off the pier was great for the kids, they had alot of fun. No flying bugs. Sunset were great. You are not going find another place like this for a getaway.

Summary: We absolutely loved Seas the Bay! The house was incredible. It was stocked with everything we needed to cook including things we forgot like ziploc bags! Robert responded quickly to questions I had before our trip and during. The vodka was amazing! We saw dolphins in the canal, caught crabs in the crab trap, caught drum and lots of catfish. The kayaks and paddleboard were really nice but my kids were too scared to try it. This house had everything we needed for a week long vacation. It’s a short drive to lighthouse beach in port lavaca (great for smaller kids) and about an hour away from Matagorda (my teenagers favorite). Sitting on the porch was our favorite pastime in the evenings. We are already planning a trip back. The owners provided so many amenities and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect!

Summary: Nice and clean! Great amenities! Not much to do if you don't fish or do water sports. Nothing much around but nice and peaceful, restful place. Porches were amazing! Thanks for letting us stay

Summary: Our group had a great time! We didn’t have luck fishing but we enjoyed all the amenities! The kayaks were a nice surprise and so much fun. All of the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We traveled with our 18 month old and having the gates and fenced yard made for a peace of mind. We took a short drive to the beach which had so many things to do. We can’t wait to go back!

Summary: Had an awesome weekend at the property and did some fishing in Port O’Connor. The house was nice and clean and enjoyed hanging out on the porch and bar area. Will definitely look to stay again!!

Summary: We love love loved the long weekend at the orange house. My 3 grandsons all want to come again to the orange house. They enjoyed being able to fish and to also use the kayaks and paddle boards in the canal. We were alittle surprised that this home did not have a bunk room. the kids all stayed in the living room on the air mattresses which they really liked that too, so all in all not a big deal. Also, there is no dining table upstairs, a card table is provided, and we put that up. Everything you may have forgotten is provided for. Such a well-stocked pantry. We loved all the extras. Super clean. We loved the location. It would be nice for the lights in the canal to be cleaned, maybe better fishing. But it was so nice to have everything right there. Downstairs having the extra fridge and the bathroom there was great.....we plan to visit again as soon as our schedules will work out. Thanks for sharing your super nice home.

Summary: My fiancé, myself and our infant enjoyed a 3 day stay here. Plenty of space, lots of activities and movies to choose from. Kayaking and boating is available. We had a chance to see a dolphin around 730 am one morning hunting in the canals. Host provided everything you can possibly think of to go fishing, cooking with basic staple supplies provided in pantry. A short drive away is a small bay beach with tons of small and medium sized shells. Closest big city is Port Lavaca which is about 15 to 20 minute drive. Definitely want to bring our whole family out here to enjoy some time.

Summary: My family and I enjoyed a great stay with all the comfort of home. The house was well stocked with everything that you need for a great experience. My 83yrs old mother and I were able to still catch fish and have a fish fry inspite of the inclement weather. The owners have thought of everything from A-Z (my granddaughters had a blast playing inside) they are friendly and responsive we will definitely be back! We loved all of the out door spaces for entertainment great stay!
