Vacation in a snow-globe. That is how this home feels in the snowy months. This warm and spacious mountain home is nestled in majestic pines in the prestigious Highlands neighborhood just a couple blocks from the greens at the Breckenridge Golf Course.
The home feels a private retreat in the woods, yet is just a few minutes from all the action. This beautiful cedar estate welcomes you with soft touches, warm yet elegant finishes, and space to just be and be together. The main, open entertaining area sprawls with light, glass, and warmth. An enormous artistic sectional and petrified wood table surround a towering cathedral ceilings and glass, a massive stone fireplace and brand-new UHD TV. Play games or watch the football game with loved ones while the resident chef in the group makes themselves at home in the gourmet kitchen. Host dinner or request a private chef to serve up cuisine in the cathedral-like formal dinning. Meander out either side of the house to a wrap-around deck/patio and outdoor entertaining area. Sizzle steaks on the modern Weber grill, sit by the fire pit with a glass of wine as the sun wanes, or soak in the bubbly warm of the modern Hot Tub after a long day on the slopes.
The kids will almost certainly rush to the oversized loft / entertaining area. Two massive arched sofas hug the sitting space adjacent to a massive 85" theater-like big screen...while still leaving room for the gamers who might opt for a competition at the Pac Man machine or foosball table. Two suites upstairs provide escape for those ready to crash. An enormous 20" Master en-suite has a King Bed, HD TV, sitting area, and oversized 5-piece bath with soaking tub. The second massive upper bedroom has 2 queens with room to spare, and another massive attached 5-piece bath with soaking tub. The main level offers 2 more large queen bed-rooms. One with a private bath, one with a corresponding bath across the hall. A large main floor laundry, oversized 2 car garage, and covered front sitting porch make main floor livng a breeze if desired. With amazing all-paved access to Breckenridge, Frisco, local hiking, biking, golfing and fishing, activities surround!
Each room is a spacious, luxury-appointed haven with designer picked finishes, bamboo linens, and even embroidered robes in the four "big kid" rooms. Summary: It was perfect for the eight of us. Boys loved the loft and bunk room. Generous space and location was great for either going to do kid friendly activities in Breck, going biking and hiking or getting on the interstate to go explore. Neighborhood was very nice and area safe. We had a lot of fun.

Summary: The last 5 years my family and our best friends have vacationed at Christmas in Colorado. With the great location we had a lot of days in town shopping, skiing, and other adventures. Then the days we just spent relaxing were absolutely perfect in the house. Everyone was able to have their own space or when we all wanted to be together we could and never felt cramped.

Summary: We enjoyed our family gathering at this home. the check-in and check-out processes were super easy. The house of spacious and has very good amenities and kitchen appliances. The best feature was an en suite bathroom for each bedroom. We also enjoyed the hot tub under starry nights. However, the following provides some details on the property that may not be apparent from the description and pictures. The property is in a subdivision near Breckenridge golf course. If one is looking for isolation and outdoors tranquility, this is not the right place; one hears the highway noise outdoors throughout the day (inside is pretty quiet). The age of the home is also showing. The kitchen is in a high need for an upgrade: all the non-stick pots and pans and badly scratched and unhealthy for cooking. Not all gas cooktop burners worked well and one could smell gas when the igniter did not work. The outdoor fire hearth does not work. The living room couch is very uncomfortable, likely due to overuse. Finally, the master bedroom on the upper floor heats up in the summer due to South/West exposure and does not cool off at night sufficiently. So if you like cold temperatures at night, it may be uncomfortable.

Summary: Perfect place for our family of 7 to stay the week in beautiful Breckinridge. Everyone had their own room & bathroom which was a must for us. The house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as cooking or baking which was nice. We enjoyed setting out on the outdoor deck in the morning drinking coffee & seeing a few wildlife visitors such as a chipmu nk & a squirrel. Everyone also enjoyed at the end of each day getting into the hotub. Our 19 year old son loved the pac-man arcade game in the upstairs loft area. The golf course next to the property was great. The guys in our group enjoyed playing golf. The property is in a perfect spot right inbetween the town of Breckenridge & Friscoe. Overall a wonderful experience & place to stay. We would definitely stay her again in the future.
