Summary: Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with 3 kids. Loved that it was close to the Metro and the congeniality of the staff is top notch. We loved the restaurant staff, the front desk, and Jojo was the best bellman. The beds were cozy and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Now on to things that could be improved. The pool is COLD. Since we booked this specific hotel for the pool (kids) it'd be nice if it was a little warmer. Also, the front desk advertises a $15 credit (already included in your destination fee). This turned out to be a ploy as it cannot be used in the snack shop or at Starbucks, only in the Restaurant/Room Service. Nothing at either is $15 or less, so we ended up spending a lot more than intended to utilize the credit. But I suppose a nice perk if you've already planned to eat at the Spotted Zebra anyways.

Summary: The best service at this property was housekeeping. They were thorough, efficient, friendly and went out of their way to ensure our safety. The streets were clean around the property but the sidewalks were uneven in the majority of the city and we came close several times to tripping on raised/uneven edges. The front desk staff treated us like unwanted guests and were not helpful because we booked our stay through a third party. This property is so close to the mass transit system that it made having a rental car 100% unnecessary. We had a great visit

Summary: Stayed here recently and overall—just mid. The bed and pillows were way too soft, offering little support and not much sleep. I needed a toothbrush, but housekeeping said they didn’t have any and that they were “on back order,” which felt a bit odd for a hotel. Service was disappointing. I ordered Uber Eats, and unlike most hotels I’ve stayed at, no one would bring it up to my room—I had to go down myself. Same story when I needed cutlery: they don’t provide it via housekeeping, and I had to ask the restaurant downstairs directly. If you’re here on a quick business trip for 1–2 nights and don’t expect much, it’s acceptable. But for anything longer or more comfortable, I’d look elsewhere.

Summary: Great choice for our two night stay in Washington! A superb location, near the museums, steps away from the metro, and walking distance from restaurants, pharmacies and shops. We felt safe and comfortable. The Starbucks inside te hotel was a definite plus!!
