Summary: Our family had a very nice stay at this cottage. It is located 15 minutes away from North Beach and about 40 minutes away from Sandbanks. The house is clean and spacious. It has a huge backyard where we enjoyed great views esp. at sunset. The lake is beautiful with clear water, no seaweeds, shallow entry (good for kids), the bottom is a little rocky so water shoes are recommended. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, washer and dryer. It has all basic equipment and lots of dishes but needs more frying pans and a new kettle. Also it would be nice to have a bigger dining table with more chairs to accommodate parties of 7-8 people. I believe water is not drinkable in that area, it has a specific smell, so bringing your own drinkable water is a good idea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and would definitely rent here again.

Summary: The property needs updating especially in the kitchen, the drawers didn’t function properly. The hand towel in the half bath was broken.

Summary: My family was supposed to stay at this cottage for a week but we left early for a number of reasons. One, we didn't realize it was 40 minutes from the Sandbanks. Too far for us. Two, there is no air conditioning - only fans. One of the ceiling fans is making an awful screeching noise so we didn't turn it on. Three, we needed a bathtub for a baby girl but there is only a shower. It's my mistake as I should have examined the photos better. By the way, there is a shallow inlet you could enter and swim in but you definitely need swim shoes. It is very rocky! Overall, the furniture and decor are nice. The property could be cleaner. (I swept the floor after we arrived and found a lot of crumbs and stuffs.) Some repairs are needed as the screen window to the bedroom closest to the entrance and the backyard screen door need to be fixed. This property has a lot of potential to being better - just a little more TLC needed!

Summary: The property is amazing for family games and swimming. Cottage is large enough to host two families. The owner is very responsive to phone calls. Summary: Pros: excellent host with excellent communication We arrived early and the host allowed us to check in to theit wonderful cottage. The pictures do not do justice to this property. Its an open concept cottage with lots of space for kids and adults to bond with. This cottage is fully equipped and the hosts made sure that we had everything we needed including dropping off a gas tank when our gas ran out for the bbq. We enjoyed bonfires outback facing the lake and caught fish as well. We enjoyed so much that we decided to extend and the hosts were more than accomdating. Thank you for having us and we will be back again next year. Fyi this property is close to North Beach pronvincial Park and 43 minutss away from Sandbanks. Thank you L and company for this wonderful cottage.

Summary: Nice location, and good access to shallow water on Wellers Bay, ideal for young kids. Beds were comfortable, spacious common rooms, well stocked kitchen. Some fine tuning will probably be added with tie as we understand the owners are relatively new to the property. The property manager was very responsive to our needs. Would consider renting again next year..

Summary: The perfect summer cottage trip with our kids ages 3-11. We spent the week swimming in the warm lake, which has no weeds and a long shallow entry perfect for kids. The beautiful lawn and peaceful surroundings, and best of all a western exposure allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets by the lake and firepit every evening. The cottage itself is comfortable and a nice size, with large windows, cozy, updated furniture and nice bathrooms. We definitely hope to return next summer!

Summary: Our standards of cleanliness must be must higher because we ended up re-cleaning the place for our own safety. The BBQ was another safety hazard that was never maintained or cleared. The water had a very strong smell of metal. Bottle water was out best friend. The place has great potential just not really unkept as in the pics. Made the best of what we got and for the price we got.

Summary: This property was in a perfect location, right on the water with access to the Bay. The home was spotless when we arrived. Very spacious and a beautiful view. I would strongly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away with friends or family. Check in and out was very easy and the property manager did everything in their power to ensure a fun/relaxing stay. Thank you! Can’t wait to come back
