Star gaze at night and enjoy peaceful walks during the day. We are less than a mile from downtown McArthur, close to all the amenities.
Just a short 30-minute drive to Old Mans Cave entrance and 22 minutes from Lake Hope. Feel free to fish in the pond. No swimming allowed. Catch and release only.

Summary: Great place to relax. Easy to find and very quiet, yet close to town. We plan on going to hocking hills in the summertime and would stay here again. Hopefully we will be able to check out the property (not the best weather when we stayed there).

Summary: The apartment was great, very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. We loved the games and activities they had- my kids loved playing the hook and ring game, ladder ball and went fishing. The property was easy to find and only 20 minutes from Ash Cave. Unfortunately communication from the host was lacking. I didn’t receive check in instructions until a few hours after check in started, when I asked for them. I actually almost found a different place to stay because I wasn’t sure if our reservation was lost. We couldn’t find a WiFi password in the apartment or information anywhere and my request to the host for one didn’t get a response. There weren’t any check out instructions which is a first- I prefer to leave a place the way the hosts want (towels, dishes, sheets, etc). The missing communication was unusual and gave me some anxiety. Additionally be aware the mattresses are thin and I found them hard to sleep on. Overall it was a great place and I would recommend staying here (the pictures really don’t do it justice) but the lack of communication was unusual.

Summary: This was a nice getaway, close to town but still country. The owners lived nearby and helpful. Yet it still felt like we had privacy. We fished and sat near the firepit. The apartment was clean and modern. We ate at local restaurants.

Summary: Water's Edge was a great find! I was in town for a short visit, and am glad I found this place! Very clean, quiet, and cozy for my stay. The place was well stocked with the necessities needed, and very quiet at night. Easy to find and close to the downtown area. I would highly recommend Waters Edge, and would stay at again!!!
