NEW LISTING: Beautiful 3 Bed/2.5 Bath home with sunset views over Narragansett Bay. Ideally located in the charming and historic seaport of Bristol, Rhode Island with an easy walk to Bristol Town Beach and Colt State Park. Just a ½ block west to access the water and ½ block east to enjoy the scenic bike path that runs from downtown Bristol to Providence.
COASTAL LIVING
Our vacation home is ideal for coastal adventures, relaxation, and family fun. It sleeps up to 8 guests (i.e with new queen beds in each of the 3 upstairs bedrooms and a comfortable queen-sized pullout sofa bed in the downstairs den), offers a wide range of modern conveniences, and features a beautiful, relaxing setting with an open floor plan, high ceilings and wonderful natural light.
The property is a ½ block from the water, comes with everything you need for comfortable day-to-day living, (including central air conditioning), and offers sunset views over beautiful Narragansett Bay from the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom with deck, and upstairs bedrooms. The back deck and grassy backyard provide a wonderful, family-friendly playground for corn hole, ladder ball, lawn bowling, lounging under the shade of the pergola, or enjoying a barbecue with locally caught seafood on the new Weber Grill.
*Our guests are welcome to use our backyard sporting gear (i.e Corn Hole, Ladder Ball, and Bocce Ball) during their stay.
BRISTOL TOWN BEACH & SPORTS COMPLEX
Located a block away at the end of the adjacent street, the town beach offers an impressive sports complex for beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, bocce ball, horseshoe, and roller hockey. Additionally, it features a playground for younger children, a skate park, grassy picnic grounds, multiple fields for team sports, and a safe swimming area with seasonal lifeguards on duty.
*Our guests are welcome to use our sporting equipment (i.e tennis rackets, bocce ball, volleyball, and basketball), and beach gear (i.e beach chairs, beach towels, inner tubes, floating lounge chairs, coolers, and beach wagon to roll your gear to the water) during their stay.
COLT STATE PARK
Colt State Park is conveniently located right next to the town beach. Known as the 'Gem' of the RI State Parks System, it offers spectacular, panoramic views of Narragansett Bay and 450+ acres of groomed trees, flowering bushes, manicured lawns, and picnic groves. It also features 4 miles of bicycle trails, 10 large play-fields, a historical museum, a public boat ramp, a fishing pier, and Mill Gut Pond – an ideal waterway for bird watching and digging for quahogs and other clams.
NEAR HISTORIC DOWNTOWN BRISTOL
Walk, bike or drive the 1.5 miles to beautiful downtown Bristol and enjoy a wide range of dining, drinking, entertainment, historic sites and shopping experiences near the water. During the summer, Bristol is well known for its Independence Day Parade and Festivities (celebrated annually since July 4, 1785) as well as it’s free summertime concert series in Independence Park.
*Our guests are welcome to use our 4 adult bikes (with helmets and locks) to explore the beautiful East Bay Bike Path near our home that runs from downtown Bristol to Providence.
ADVENTURES BEYOND BRISTOL
Our home is conveniently located just 15 miles from Newport with its beautiful beaches, Gilded Age mansions, spectacular Cliff Walk, sailing adventures, waterfront restaurants and a broad selection of boutique stores. Providence is also just 15 miles away with wonderful art galleries, city nightlife, and unique downtown entertainment like WaterFire on the river.
During the summer months, the Bristol Ferry also provides convenient weekend service to both Newport & Providence. Taking the high speed ferry from Newport to Block Island for the day can also be a wonderful family adventure!

Summary: My family and I were all really impressed with how well-maintained and clean the house was. Everything was exactly as described and looked even better in person! Byron and Robin were excellent, attentive hosts and really think of everything you would need. The location cannot be beat if you want a short walk to beach/state park/bike trails. Bristol is a beautiful quaint town. It was a perfect place for a family with young children. We would book this again!

Summary: This property was just as promised. Everything worked great. We had no issues and Byron was great to work with. I would certainly recommend this or another property owned by Byron to others and I will likely be renting from Byron again myself.

Summary: Beautifully decorated home with amazing views of the water, located in a quiet neighborhood that is walkable to Colt State Park and a short drive to downtown Bristol. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and reached out to check in with us and make sure we had everything we needed (they even left some goodies to get our stay started!). They have backyard games and bikes, so you'll never feel bored! Would definitely stay here again next time we are in Bristol!

Summary: We loved our stay at this lovely home in Bristol. The property is exactly as advertised. This is probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in! Communication with the owners was excellent. Everything on the property was in perfect working order and of good quality. The location was ideal for our needs and having the bike path and Colt State Park only steps away was so convenient! The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Shopping and dining are also easily accessible.

Summary: This past weekend we stayed at a beautiful home in Bristol Rhode Island. Our son graduated from Roger Williams University. We were looking for a home to stay at, where we could gather and celebrate. Byron and Robins home was perfect. Close to the water, with a grill and a cozy backyard. Summary: The house has beautiful water views. We were there during a heat wave but between the central a/c and close proximity of the beach we were cool all week. We biked everyday into Bristol and Warren. Byron and Robin were great hosts and clearly put a lot of thought into the needs of people staying in there home. It was well stocked and very clean. They were very responsive. Hope to stay there again!

Summary: The best VRBO experience we have had. Great location, great communication from the host. The most thorough welcome book when you arrive that gives you every detail you would need to go out, head to the beach, enjoy the local culture. House is immaculate and with updated amenities. Easy access to the beach and walk down to sunsets every night if you do not want to just enjoy them from the house. GREAT NEIGHBORS as well. Coming back next year! JB

Summary: Location,Location,Location! This home was absolutely stunning. Since this was our first visit to Rhode Island we loved the thorough guide book that Byron created. As a family of 4 with two teenagers we were able to complete the bike trail right next to the property. We rode the entire path to East Providence. The bike path was absolutely beautiful. It is a must do for nature lovers ! We also visited Colt State Park by bike a few times. The sunset was absolutely stunning. The location of the home made for an easy drive to Newport and Cape Cod. We loved our stay so much it was sad to leave. Their are water views from so many places in the home. The home is beautifully decorated with nice little touches of the Rhode Island area. Byron was an outstanding host. Thanks for all your suggestions on what activities we should do based on wanting to use our bikes. The shed was a great place for us to store four adult bikes. However , Byron has bikes that you can use and other outdoor activities if you choose to do so. We would love to rent this home again!
