The Cottage offers clean, comfortable, and affordable accommodations for your vacation to Black Lake. Come relax and enjoy your own private lakeside cottage with spectacular views. and superb fishing. Kayaks and canoes are available and the waterfront access allows for easy swimming and kayaking.
The Cottage is centrally located on Black Lake and is only minutes from restaurants, gas stations, tackle shops, boat rentals, and public boat launch.
Fishing is excellent for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, crappie, bluegill, catfish, walleye, and more.
The cottage is available to rent year round and comes fully furnished and well equipped.

Summary: First off the owner Korey is a great guy and will answer any and all questions. Yes the cottage is older and could use just a touch of TLC but its a cottage, and its CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. Only thing I wish the view would get cleared up a bit, Blocks much of the view. The person that complained about parking in prior review, not sure what he was driving but there is ample for boat trailer and car. The water by cottage this time of year is a tad weedy and if you planning on swimming off dock or fishing off it, not gonna happen. Overall a great time was had and that is what counts most of all.

Summary: Decent cabin, clean and was what we expected for the most part. Couch is dirty and should be removed. There is no TV other than streaming, but we managed. Parking is in the roadside and the people that live in that area try to set land speed records thru town. If you are trailering your boat look elsewhere. If you are fishing Black Lake this is your spot!!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this clean and comfortable cabin. Spent a lot of time out either on the deck or dock sitting there in the quiet watching the lake and the wildlife. We especially enjoyed watching the loons every morning as they floated on by. Sunrises were amazing. Korey is a great host, too. Would definitely stay there again! Try it you won't be disappointed

Summary: Property has potential. Could use simple kitchen items, wooden spoons, new can opener. Gas grill is garbage. For the price you should have basic cable tv. Exterior of the property could use a good cleaning.

Summary: We stayed the week and each of us enjoyed what this place had to offer. The view of the lake was breathtaking! The bedrooms were small but comfortable. The common area, deck and dock more than made up for it. Some of us fished, some read and relaxed along the lake, and some explored the area (1000 islands, nearby towns, scenic lookouts, etc). All ages benefit. Canoe and kayaks were available on property. Friendly neighbors offered boat rides, advice on fishing spots, and safe company. Korey was great with prompt communication and help. We would definitely consider coming back!

Summary: This is our 3rd stay at this home on Black Lake over the past 7 years! It feels like home to us! This is a fishing trip for our family and this year did not disappoint...our guys fished both Black Lake and the St Lawrence and caught great sized bass in both. Wonderful neighbor, very nice family and Korey, the Host couldn't be more helpful. ALWAYS answers inquiries immediately. We will absolutely be returning for a 4th visit.

Summary: The property we like to call "Korey's Place" is well kept,clean property with great neighbors in a prime location in Edwardsville. In our travels we meet about more than 1/2 a dozen ppl who gave us all kinds of hot spots and baits to use for all kinds of fish, the locals treated us like they have known us forever! A few even offered to show us and marked spots on a map. Never in 20+ years of fishing in NY have we fished an area that was so friendly and inviting. Shout outs goes to Korey for letting us stay at his beautyful, senic property!!!
