Summary: This is one of the best getaways we’ve ever been on with friends and family. Shelly is amazing! The RV was super clean and she was very responsive to texts. You couldn’t ask for a better place on the lake. We’ll definitely be back!

Summary: My fiance and my three year old booked this camper for the weekend. When I booked it, I thought I hope there aren't a whole lot of other campers out here but the more we drove out there I thought, I hope we aren't out there alone. The fact that there are other people around and that it was gated made me feel a lot safer and not so secluded. And although there are other campers in the area, we didn't hear a peep from anyone all weekend long. The water is beautiful to wake up to and my daughter loved digging in the dirt. We brought DVDs to watch (there is only one DVD player in the living room) It took us a minute to figure out the volume knob on the dvd player itself controlled the outside speakers. ((Sorry to anyone else that had to listen to Caillou)) There is no wifi so streaming was not an option but there was other things to do so and our cells got good service so we didn't miss it much. The bed is comfy and was large enough for us all three to sleep on comfortably. We drove out at night, which I wouldn't recommend but the directions we were given were a huge help in navigating a very dark road. The only downside and I mean ONLY was there was no hot water to shower in but that didn't stop us from having an excellent time. It was a great local getaway. My daughter cried when it was time for us to leave and has asked to go back daily since we left so we do plan on returning!

Summary: We loved this rental! The camper was a great size to accommodate our family for Christmas and the location was perfect! It was peaceful and we got to watch the deer every morning and evening. We'll definitely be back!

Summary: Wonderful 1st time experience renting property! Amanda and Shelly were so nice and accommodating! The RV was so clean and inviting and equipped with everything you would need for a nice vacation getaway !! The fire pit was awesome ! The peaceful lake scenery was beautiful!! So enjoyed my walks on the beach with my pup! Thanks ladies !

Summary: Our stay was great!! Will definitely be back!! I will start with the 1 bad thing that could maybe be improved on or fixed and that was the water in the camper. It did not get hot at all, just barely warm and the water pressure was just almost nothing, especially in the shower. This was the worst thing about our stay but was not a big enough deal to bother the host with... we survived. 1 or 2 other minor things was the bbq grill seemed to have plenty of fuel but barely put out and flame/heat. We were told there was a boat ramp but were not given any direction to where it was, no map of the property provided. We found it pretty easy using google earth so no big deal, but a map of the property would be ideal in the future as well as some more instruction on how to operate the camper. Also the a/c in the main living area seemed to maybe have an issue. It was cool on arrival but we noticed it get warmer as the day went which is to be expected with a camper but it would turn off and on quickly which was odd but it was never uncomfortable. Other than those few things which again were very minor, the stay was absolutely amazing. The camper was super clean and had plenty of room for us 2 plus the friends and family we entertained for the weekend. The host contacted us a couple days out, was very nice and answered the questions I had at the time. I feel had I contacted Amanda about any issue she would have taken care of it to the best of her ability. Check in is listed for 4pm, but she had the camper ready at noon and told me to come whenever which was great. Island view is a great place to stay and we will definitely be telling everyone we know about it and are already planning our next stay!!
