Summary: Heather is exactly what you want as a host- Kind, Caring, Responsive, & much more 💕. The carriage home is very charming & comfortable. Includes all the essentials you need + thoughtful extras. Beautiful property & neighborhood, very safe, private. This was our favorite VRBO experience & we hope to visit again.

Summary: Heather’s property was the perfect spot for our weekend! Tucked away enough that we felt relaxed and in nature but just a short drive away from everything we needed (Whole Foods, shopping, etc). Heather’s communication could not have been better and the rental was spotless and well-appointed. Highly recommend!

Summary: The apartment above the carriage house is very comfortable and well-furnished. Everything is very clean, bright and cheerful. It's quite private from the main home, and has a beautiful view of the waterfront from the bedroom. We enjoyed walking to the water with our morning coffee. We were a little concerned about the lack of Wifi but we found it was so relaxing to unplug that we didn't miss it. Heather was very communicative and made the process of renting and checking in very easy. She is a very attentive host, but also completely respected our privacy. The location is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, and is a very short drive to Sandy Hook National Seashore and the waterfront restaurants in Highlands. We really enjoyed the park...the beach and bike riding on the miles of trails. We also appreciated the proximity to several good restaurants and live music so close by. This was a fantastic getaway location in every aspect. We hope we get to return!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here - due to the amazing hosts as well as the home itself. Over the years, we've rented many homes through various rental sites, and dealt with many hosts. Heather and Steve are just operating on a whole 'nother level. They are quick communicators, the most accommodating hosts I've ever encountered, and just really kind people. They really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. - and if we didn't have it - they got it. They live in the main house on the property and were available if needed - but always gave us our privacy. The home itself is an open 1 bedroom which worked for us. it was clean, well-stocked, and relaxing. The views down to the boathouse and dock are gorgeous - especially at sunset. We'd walk down to the boathouse to sit, to work, to eat pizza, or do nothing at all. The entire property just feels very relaxed. It's located in a great neighborhood with close proximity to Hartshorne Woods, with miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. if you have the opportunity book this home - just do it. The hosts have created a very welcoming environment and I'm quite certain you'll enjoy your time here.
