3 Bedroom Condo in Sandpoint

Enjoy this absolutely gorgeous condo, with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, in the Westwood community. A family oriented resort community, you'll enjoy all the amenities of a pool, kiddie pool, tennis court and a private boat dock tie up. Located in Sandpoint, Westwood is just 2 miles from downtown and has a separated and paved walking / biking trail into town. Updated furnishings and easy access to all the amenities of Westwood are yours to enjoy -- including private boat dock, pool, and tennis courts. The master bedroom and 2nd bedroom both have portable air conditioning units during summertime. High-speed WiFi included and available throughout the condo.
**Please note that the swimming pool is only available during summertime. And, each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.Vehicles can park in the general parking area - no parking in front of the garage, and no trailers allowed onsite anywhere.
Families live here year round and while it's an ideal vacation spot -- it is also intended to be a quiet and respectful resort community. No parties, events are allowed and we require a minum age of renter to be at least 32 years of age. If you bring a boat, please contact the manager immediately after booking so we can help arrange off-site trailer storage for you, at an additional cost of $200. (Trailer parking is not ever allowed on the premises and Quiet Hours are strictly enforced from 9pm-9am). Thank you.

Summary: Older unit with great amenities and excellent location. The ground floor unit offers easy access to the water and the dock. We enjoyed our stay but had a difficult time sleeping and getting comfortable due to the low quality mattress. Bedding linens could also use an upgrade. If you are bringing a boat you will need to store the trailer offsite, located about 10-15 min from the property.

Summary: We had a great nine day stay at this condo. There was plenty of room for 7 of us. The location was fantastic and the availability of the pool was really nice on the HOT days. It was convenient to have use of the boat slip as well. The kitchen was well stocked as well as pool towels. The only recommendation I have is to upgrade the queen and bunkbeds mattresses :) Overall, we had a fantastic time and would book again in a heartbeat.

Summary: The location of this property is ideal! Lakeside with a boat slip, pool, basketball, pickle ball, tennis, nice open grass areas and super close to the walking/biking trail into town. On the flip side, this rental is basic and the owner needs to put more money into the details of the property. I have stayed at other properties in the area that were much better quality for the same or even lower price. The stocked items in the kitchen were non-existent, limited or very old. I called the management company and Kellee, the owner was ON IT! Within a couple hours her team delivered platters, bowls, serving utensils, plasticware, games, flour, sugar, oil and a real trashcan for the kitchen. Mind you, if you stayed a couple nights and went out to eat for most meals you wouldn't notice. Overall, great location and property but missing details.

Summary: Unit was well stocked with kitchen essentials and niceties, very clean, great check-in process. great location on the water. Only downside is there's no beach with water access. Water access is over rocks, although there is a handrail with some steps down into the water. That said, lots to do with tennis courts, basketball, pool. And great kitchen to cook in. Highly recommend this place.
