Summary: The cottage was quaint and well situated (about 20 minutes from downtown Napanee and 50 minutes from sandbanks), the sights were great. Atiqul was very welcoming. The only reason we did not put 5 stars is that the door didn’t close completely and insects could come in.

Summary: Super location for our stay in the area. Generally quiet and easy journey to Nappanee and or Picton. Met some lovely people in the other properties too. Think the property could do with some tlc to really make it shine as an overall 4 or 5 star location : sink plugs, a fly screen on the front door, a blind/curtain on the front door. The listing mentions a canoe, its actually a pedalo, and the need for life jackets when using said boat or swimming - if you have flown into the province you will likely not have brought life jackets with you. Overall we enjoyed the location.

Summary: The owners go out of the way to make you comfortable. We had some issue with the water supply and they made all efforts to make us comfortable.

Summary: Our hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable and welcome. The beds were brand new, there was the cutest Teal keurig... and you can really see the care and effort that has been invested. 4 stars only because the swimming is very rocky and weedy, but it clears up a few feet off the dock. Bring water shoes. My 8 year old daughter and I had a great time!

Summary: Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and really went out of their way to help us with any questions and made sure we had what we needed! The cottage itself is nicely situated, and it was stocked with enough necessities that if you forgot something you would be ok. Appliances were a little dated but still functional/serviceable. Bedding were double bed so if your a little taller it might be small for you. But sheets and bedding are comfortable and very clean. The shower was a little bit dirty and could have been cleaned before the visit but more of a minor detail. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, if you're looking for a quiet little place to getaway with a lovely view of the water and enjoy a little fireside this property is right for you.

Summary: The cottage had everything we needed- kitchen with utensils and Keurig coffee maker, sitting area, wifi, and comfortable beds as well as lake views. There are 3 cottages on the property and all were occupied during our visit. We found that the decks on the cottages are arranged for maximum privacy. They all have a table with umbrella and a BBQ. We had great weather and ate outside for every meal. There are also two common shared sitting areas that we enjoyed. The moonshine on the lake is beautiful on clear nights. Lots of activities in the surrounding area - we spent one day on a beach at Sandbanks and another exploring Napanee (Highly recommend the Water River Pub and Terrace - we are vegan and they had a separate plant-based menu. There is also a river cruise from there that our cottage neighbours enjoyed.) Our hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They even provided a complementary case of bottled water and K-cups. Highly recommend.
