Enjoy a relaxing waterfront experience at beautiful Dilworth Point (only a 20 minute ferry ride from Seattle) in a quiet, cozy home nestled only 20' from the beach. A perfect vacation getaway. **We are not seeking long term renters at this time.**
Entertain yourself, family and friends on the spacious decks with unobstructed 180 degree views of Puget Sound all the way to Seattle. Watch the eagles and blue herons swoop and fish around the boat ramp or say hello to the deer who occasionally wander through the nearly 2.5 acre property.
Take a relaxing sauna overlooking the Puget Sound (20' from the shoreline) in the all cedar barrel sauna.
Entertain in style: Choose to have a casual BBQ on the deck at waters edge while eating outside or cook a full meal in the sunny and well-stocked kitchen - you'll have great views and a great time.
The main house has 3 upstairs bedrooms along with a 3/4 bath. The downstairs consists of a large combined kitchen & family room with river rock fireplace & 1/2 bath. The Bunkhouse stands as a 4th bedroom and includes an additional 3/4 bath. Hot water is provided by an On Demand hot water tank (no one gets a cold shower!)

**All bedrooms and Boathouse have unobstructed water views**
Children will love the beach activities or exploring the 2.5 acres of woods. When they are done they can clean up in the outdoor heated shower.
**Please Note: due to upper parking lot, steep walkway down to cabin and multiple levels, this property is not ideal for guests with mobility concerns. Please review property photos and reach out to owners for any questions or concerns regarding access for those who may not be able to walk down or up a steep grade.**

Summary: The house was very nice and accurately described online. Our family enjoyed the stay. What was not well described online. was the last few hundred yards of the drive and the walk to the house. The last few hundred yards are on a narrow, one lane drive with a steep descent to the parking area. Then, the walk to the house from the parking area is very steep. This should have been pointed out in the on line description. The walk from the house to the parking area is a challenge. Especially up-hill with luggage. Fortunately my son and son in law were there to help with our bags. This should have been pointed out.

Summary: We loved this spot! Super clean, well-stocked, beautiful location right on the Sound. We stayed here with our baby, toddler, and a couple friends and there was plenty of room for all. Will stay again when we’re on Vashon!

Summary: Our family stayed here with one of our friends families, and we all had an amazing time. Amy was an incredibly warm and welcoming host, and the property and its amenities were incredible. The property is a bit tucked away, but we saw that as a good thing, as it felt like we were really on a distant vacation despite only being less than an hour from Seattle. Being so close to the water, hearing the waves, and being able to sit and stare out across the Sound were just what the doctor ordered to melt away that stress. The outdoor sauna helped too! We did not want to leave! I would highly recommend this property, and our family is talking about coming back again!

Summary: This is a great property with beautiful views and everything you need. We enjoyed the firepit, sauna, kayaks, games, etc. This feels very much like your cottage - very comfortable and cozy. On a clear day, you can take the kayaks out about 100 yards and see Mt. Rainier as well. Amazing! We did see seals a few times while kayaking or just looking out in the water. While taking the ferry on and off the island is required, it is quite easy and we never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes. However, just note at night, the frequency lessens so you have to time it correctly or just be back on the island before 7:30 PM or so. The downtown area on Vashon Island is quaint and offers good places to grab a bite to eat, an ice cream, or a cup of coffee, a craft beer, or a glass of wine. I'd definitely recommend this property and the owners are terrific.
