Summary: It was a fine on-the-water experience. We could appreciate the lake views from a few different levels. The seating was comfortable as well. We rented both houses and had planned to have 9 or 10 with us, but it turned out that only seven stayed. We found that to be a good number. We all congregated in the main house, and if we had been a larger group we would have wanted to split up between the two houses. The kitchen is quite small, but we managed. We like to cook most meals when we vacation. Another thing is that a couple canoes or kayaks would have been nice. We did use the paddleboat a little, and the large floaty things. From what I could see, this property is an exceptionally good value for a place right on the water.

Summary: We had a lovely time at Miller's Cove. We had plenty of room for 6 of us in both the cottage and boathouse (unfortunately the upper cottage does not appear to be available in 2022). We love being right on the lake and this cottage offered four different levels for viewing. The screened in porch is wonderful. We visited many of the nearby wineries and breweries. It looks like the owners are in the process of making upgrades to the cottage with new paint, flooring, and ceiling fans in the box ready to be installed (portable fans were provided). The air conditioning was much appreciated during a hot August week. Chris was very responsive and an attentive host. My only additional feedback is that we could not locate the charcoal grill that was supposed to be available and we did have some internet connectivity issues - but did not contact the host and just made the best of that (found some nice restaurants instead!) . The neighbor was quick to point out our designated parking spots, so perhaps marking the 2 behind the cottage with a sign might be helpful. Also, there could be some more attention paid to the housekeeping details. But overall we really enjoyed ourselves and love Seneca Lake!

Summary: Chris’ house on the lake is a beautiful property with views from the top house as well as the boat house that can’t be beat! We were a group in our 30s, and we enjoyed boating, kayaking and swimming right by the house! During rainy days the sunroom was a plus as well! This property was centrally located near many breweries and wineries, I highly recommend grist iron, jr dill and silver springs! About a 15 min ride to Watkins Glen state park as well! One thing I would note, I would not necessarily recommend this to anyone very young or incapable of walking stairs with ease as it is quite a hike down to the boathouse, but if you are able bodied I’m sure it would be no issue!

Summary: This was the perfect spot for our family get away. Many activites to enjoy! We were young adults ages 21-29, Mom and our dogs. We brought out own paddleboards and kayak and had fun at the waterfront! Easy access to State Park, wine and brew trails which added to the fun! Sun sets were beautiful! Property was very clean and exactly what you would expect of a lake front property!

Summary: We were very happy with the cottage. We had everything we needed. We loved the screen deck and the outside deck. The views were breathtaking and it was so peaceful and relaxing. We had an awesome stay!

Summary: Overall, this was a very nice stay but there could be some small improvements to the house to make it even better. The pros: The location cannot be beat. We did swimming, kayaking, and fishing right at the house. It is only a few minutes driving distance to many wineries, breweries, and great restaurants. Watkins Glen is only about 15 mins away and some amazing waterfall hikes were very close by. The house was very well stocked with dishes, silverware, and cooking necessities. The owner was very nice and communicative and she responded to any messages right away. Cons: The furniture could be more comfortable, most of the seating is wooden dining room chairs. The bedrooms can get hot because they do not face the lake and the air conditioning unit is in the living room. They would definitely benefit from a ceiling fan at least. Since there are so many water activities, and the house was on the lake, I was very surprised there was nowhere to dry clothes and towels. There needs to be a drying rack or clothes line at the least, I felt like our stuff was perpetually damp. I definitely would recommend to others to rent, as long as they are ok with the minor issues I mentioned.

Summary: The property is nice, we had 2 places the upper house and beach house. Both were nice. Seems to be more stairs than the listing says. When moving in there were crumbs in several locations and needed to be sweep better. There was a broom so we just took care of it, no big deal to us. Had everything we needed, and Cristine was very quick about getting back to us on anything

Summary: We had a great time at the lake house. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in mature trees, right on the water. It really felt like an escape. My family, including 2 young children, stayed in the main house. We appreciated the screened in porch, central air, TV with roku and all the apps, and toys for the kids. My brother and sister in law stayed in the boat house. They absolutely loved the view. We had so much fun playing by the water, using the paddle boat, and having family meals together. We also visited a winery and brewery just a few minutes away, and went to Watkins glen to hike the waterfalls. We would love to return for a family getaway! Christine was a great host.
