Enjoy up-north ambiance at a peaceful lakefront cottage on Lake Morris. Kids will love the firm sandy beach and swim area. Outdoor amenities include a large deck, paddle sport equipment, and campfire ring. The cottage is light and airy with large windows and patio doors for summer breezes. Enjoy the well-appointed kitchen, comfortable living areas, 3 large bedrooms, smart televisions and Wi-Fi. There's plenty of room and convenience to relax.
The large deck overlooks Lake Morris providing a wonderful space for family gatherings. With its southern exposure enjoy warm sunny mornings and tree shaded afternoons, The deck is a great place to gather any time of day. The wrought iron patio table seats six and has adjustable shade umbrella. Gas and charcoal grills are available for outdoor grilling.
The spacious cook's kitchen has a full-size refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker, electric range and oven, microwave, toaster, blender, hand mixer, electric griddle, a combination drip and K-cup coffee maker, and ample cookware. The kitchen desk with monitor provides views to the lake.
The living area features a gable ceiling, pine-board floors and knotty-pine walls with comfortable seating and a gas fireplace. Home entertainment includes free Wi-Fi, 2 Roku televisions with streaming services, a DVD player is located on the lower level. Family friendly DVD's, books, board games and puzzles are provided.
All the bedrooms are spacious. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and large closet. The second bedroom has two single beds and two closets. The third bedroom is located on lower-level and features a queen size bed, closet and patio access.
The main floor has a full bath with tub and shower. A toilet with sink is located on the lower level.
The campfire ring is located near the lake front. Outdoor seating, marshmallow forks are provided.
Lake Morris is a 163-acre, 5 lake chain, offering great opportunities for boaters, paddle sports, and fishing. Full rec. boating for water skiing and tubing is available on a 40-acre section of the Lake Morris chain. Spring fed streams feed the chain of lakes for great water clarity. Enjoy fishing, with abundant pan fish, bass and northern.
Guests have complimentary access to a two-person fishing-kayak, 2 single person kayaks and 2 paddle boards. Life jackets are provided in sizes for children to adult. Complimentary fishing poles are located in the lakeside storage shed.

Trout fisherman will enjoy the nearby Willow Creek and Pine River fisheries, with their Class 1 trout streams and more than 2,000 acres of public land access.
Are you a mountain biker or snow skier? Mt. Morris Park and Nordic Mtn. are located adjacent to our property and offer great mountain biking trails and a fun place for snow skiing and tubing.

Summary: This property was a prefect stay for a family getaway vacation. Little to no reception to unplug from phones but excellent wifi if you still needed to stay connected. The owners were fantastic and really display Wisconsin/ Midwestern hospitality. We were looking for a lakefront rental and feel like we made some acquaintance friends in the process.

Summary: Beautiful property, fully stocked with everything you could need. Very clean and very attentive host. The lake is clean with nice bottom but quite small, as are the other on the chain. The 1/2 bath is not quite a 1/2 bath.

Summary: The Lake House is perfect - just as advertised - with plenty of room for a family of 4+. There is a swimming area for small children, and it's close to the county park/beach. It's a peaceful location with lake access. Peggy and Steve are helpful and responsive to questions. I highly recommend this Lake House as a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

Summary: Communication before check-in was thorough and prompt. We arrived and had a very easy check in. The house was tidy and the landscaping/beach well tended to. The location on channel right next to lake is so peaceful with no wake rules (lake area allows wake 10am-5pm), but you can also see the people as they pass by on their pontoons. Boathouse is stocked with fishing/swimming/floating/lazing supplies. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

Summary: Absolutely loved this cabin for my young family. We have 2 children (ages 3 and 5) and we found this cabin to be perfect for them. It had a smooth, paved walkway to the water, easy entry to the lake, shallow water (my 5 year old could touch until nearly the end of the pier), sandy area to play, lots of small pan fish under the dock, owners provided baby gates, and the set up of the house was perfect for kids. My boys also loved having various floaties, kayaks/SUP and sand toys to play with (all provided in the exterior shed). The owners were very responsive to emails and texts. Lovely to work with. We would highly recommend this to any family, especially those with young children. Town wasn’t very big but we did enjoy Bird Creek Park (playground + splash pad). Only “con” was the checkout process. I don’t mind cleaning whatsoever, but we did have to clean-clean after ourselves (cleaning the tub, toilet, vanity/mirror, vacuum, haul trash to waste site, etc.) For us it was minor but just not something I was used to. Will definitely stay again!

Summary: The house was comfortable and supplied sand toys, noodles, canoe, paddle board and kayaks. Worked well for our family of 6 and still worked when our oldest daughter’s family visited with children ages 8 months to 6 years.
