Summary: An amazing location to get away, enjoy amazing views and the beach

Summary: We spent a month at the house and loved every minute of it. It sits on a bluff looking over the Sound with a five minute walk to the beach. We ate almost all meals on the wonderful, shady deck. It was comfortable even on some very hot days. Chris was a great host. His user manual for the house was the best I have seen with answers for everything. For a few questions he was quickly available and helpful. We have booked for next year.

Summary: If I can summarize the stay in 3 words, it is - location, location, location. The deck is the highlight from where you can see sunset, sunrise, and the ocean. The views are spectacular and the house facilities and what it provides is more than what one can ask for. We were able to completely disconnect and it was relaxing to simply grill, hang out on the deck, drink wine/beer, star gaze, see sunrises and sunset, read books as the birds sang, and take gazillion photos. Communication with the host is prompt. The beach itself is great to simply lounge but its full of pebbles, as all North Shore Long Island beaches are generally. And if I were to learn lessons from kids frolicking in the water and in kayaks, the pebble floor is no concern of theirs. In short, we did not want to come back to reality leaving the house and the beach. Loved the experience.
