Summary: The lucky duck was everything the post said it would be and more! It had every utensil, pots, & pans we needed! We didn't have to bring any extra towels! The couches were super comfy and so were the beds! The pool was nicely heated and our kids enjoyed it in the cooler weather! We loved the dock and deck to sit on and enjoy coffee. The lucky duck is walking distance to a great view of the beach! Whitney (owner) was awesome and answered as soon as a question was asked! If I had one complaint it would be that there was not many places to eat on the island but if course we did go Thanksgiving week. All in all the neighborhood and island was very clean and nice! We had a such a good time relaxing! We enjoyed Fort Gaines & the sea lab also!

Summary: The most impressive part of the study was that everything that was mentioned in the literature on what was available was true. The house was very clean and organized, everything that we were told would be available was in place. Very few times do you get what you expect but we certainly did on this trip. Very enjoyable and relaxing. Certainly worth a second trip.

Summary: The kitchen need s some new cookware. All the nonstick pans have lost their nonstick. The cookie sheets need replacing also. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay. Great location to the beach and the bay.

Summary: We could not have asked for anything better in a beach stay. The property is perfectly positioned to both shops and beaches, yet is was quiet and peaceful. My only wish is that more places were open to dining while we were there.

Summary: My sister and I made a fairly last minute decision to rent the Lucky Duck for the ONLY 3 nights they had available for months out. After driving across the bridge and letting ourselves in to the beach house we can see why this place is rented out so far in advance. We had never heard of Dauphin island but are so glad that we went on our gut and took the chance. This place does not disappoint. The house is amazing and fully stocked with pretty much all you could need aside from food. The island is so easy to navigate and has plenty of attractions. Be on the lookout for the driving cranes and pelicans. This made the favorite time of our trip being just sitting on the back deck and watching the birds. We will definitely try to come back for longer next time.
