This secluded property offers a retreat like no other. On one of the most desired lakes in Maine, you can experience ample outdoor entertaining space as well as peaceful, quiet nature retreats. The pristine waterfront with a dock, private swimming area, and provided kayaks is the perfect space to enjoy the sun and all that lake life has to offer. This property is ideal for a miltifamily vacation or with lots of extra space for a single family or couple, there's no shortage of space for extra guests.
Walk through the garden into the main entry with a large mud room/ foyer. You will find a guest bath and bedroom before entering a grand living and gathering space. The open concept and tall ceilings of the fully equipped kitchen, living room, sprawling out into a screened in outdoor space overlooking the lake, and front deck give endless opportunity for enjoying the indoor/ outdoor experience. The recent addition on the main floor includes a private king size master inclusive of an office space, beautiful bedroom, walk through closet and en suite bathroom complete with a private balcony overlooking the lake.
The lower level of the home includes a common area with a queen bed and twin day bed with trundle, a separate room for extra sleeping or game room , and a private bathroom. You will also enjoy sliding doors out to balconies and decks over the lake. Utilities such as laundry are located in a closed space for noise and privacy on this level.

Summary: We were incredibly impressed with the property. It is beautiful, spacious and exactly as described and it was perfect for hosting our wedding party guests (bridesmaids and groomsmen). Our host Lauren was kind, incredibly accommodating, and prompt to respond to several inquiries I had. We couldn't have imagined a better spot to stay and it gave us exactly the experienced we wanted. It was a delight to canoe as well. You will enjoy your stay immensely!

Summary: This was our first time visiting Thompson Lake and we were pleasantly surprised by the property and the lake. The house had everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. Access to the garage was especially nice for storing our bikes. Also, the provided canoe and kayaks allowed everyone to get out in the crystal clear lake. Grocery stores, gas, nature preserves and even a brewery are all a short drive away. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Summary: House was lovely But prorperty was not prepared. Adirondack chairs were filthy with bird droppings and debris. Should have been power washed before guests arrived. Tried to hose them off but outside faucet did not work.. no water.Vines & weeds overgrown onto 2nd floor deck making the space unusable. Had to call property manager to get that trimmed down. Listed as air conditioned..only in 2 areas not including main living space or upstairs bedrooms. Listing was deceiving regarding access to house and/or dock. Very steep and not easily accesible.

Summary: The pictures of the house were very accurate and the property was well maintained. We stayed with our family and some friends and the house was more than spacious for our group of ten. The lake was amazing and very quiet based on how developed the shoreline was. The walk down to the dock was a bit of a workout but we got used to it by the end of the week. We would definitely consider going back.

Summary: Fantastic house and property. Well-maintained with amazing selection of books to read. The lake is wonderful and there were kayaks for us to use. Only mild complaint would pertain to the property manager. Only two of four beds had adequate blankets, and it was cool at night when we were there. My call to the property manager was not returned. The house access code that we were initially given did not work either, so we had to call to sort that out. These weren’t big deals for us because the house was so nice.
