You owe it to yourself to make lifetime memories at “Peace of Paradise”. Spend a week at this
spacious lake house and enjoy the beautiful wide water views across from undeveloped Smith
Mountain Lake State Park. Three bedrooms, and two extra beds in the basement office provide
plenty of room for multiple guests, as well as private space to unwind. In addition to private
sleeping accommodations on all three levels of this home, there are full baths on all three levels.
Our guests will spend their days swimming, floating, fishing, boating, and relaxing on the no-
wake zone lake, all the while working up an appetite for a dinner expertly prepared on the gas
grill, and in the fully stocked kitchen. Watch your favorite shows with Wi-fi and smart TV’s, with
comcast cable in the main level family room, both bedrooms on the main level, as well as the
basement level rec room.
Have fun in the rec room playing pool, foosball and board games. Bask in the sun with the wrap-
around deck, or lounge in the shade with the under deck patio.
Centrally located at R22, this immediate lake area has tons of room for water skiing, tubing and
wakeboarding without feeling crowded by other boats or narrow coves. We are within Walking
five minutes to the Virginia Dare Marina for a cold beverage, good food, live music, and an
opportunity to gas up the boat. Wrap up your day by roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and
sitting on the deck to stargaze.

Summary: My family and I spent another vacation week at the Peace of Paradise Lake House hosted by Anne. Trying to find time as a family for 3 grown boys with busy careers and one married is impossible except when it comes to the Lake House. I gave them the dates and they made the time to show up. We checked on Friday and by 4:30PM the boat was at the dock and tee times were made for two rounds of golf. We have stayed at the Lake House many times and we have no intention of going to any other location. The house has a warm, inviting, family feel that I haven't found in other places. It's always clean, well maintained and the view of the lake, well, its perfect for that morning cup of coffee. I strongly encourage anyone looking for a great house on a beautiful lake to contact Anne. She will take excellent care of you. My boys are already wanting to plan next year's trip.

Summary: This was a track out time for our grandchildren and what a delight it was. The home is the cleanest pet friendly home we have experienced. There are plenty of activities inside and out for everyone and space to spread out and enjoy. We had a nightly fire in the outdoor pit with hot dogs and S'mores. The dock provided nice space for docking our rented boat. The quiet cove was perfect for young ones and older ones to paddle board and swim. Unfortunately the fish were not interested in our varied bait that week. Our host, Anne, is amazing and quickly answered our questions before we arrived. Again, delightful!

Summary: This property is a great choice if you have pets and an active family! We had a couple things come up and the host was EXCEPTIONALLY responsive and supportive. It has everything you need for a family and it is a stone’s throw from the marina which is good for boating. My only suggestion is to fix the sliding glass doors so you can use them to go out to the deck. Otherwise this property is a great choice!

Summary: We stayed for 1 week. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient. The house was amazing. The views were unbelievable. We couldnt ask for a better property. The one thing that I really appreciated the most about the house itself besides the loaction and views was the space. Usually when you go on a family vacation you’re either sharing a drawer with someone or you dont have enough hangars etc. but in this house there are 3 humungous closets with plenty of hangars and each room has more then enough dresser space. Then add on the fact that you have 3 full bathrooms a hige dining table. 2 huge wrap around couches and chairs to boot. It was peaceful not feeling cramped. Highly reccomend this place.

Summary: SML is our absolute favorite place to be and spending a week in this beautiful house made our vacation even better! Every room was perfectly decorated and made us feel like we were at home. Plenty of games and room to spread out for everyone! There were clear instructions for check in and check out and our host was quick to respond with any questions we had. We hope to book again in the future.

Summary: The house and location are wonderful. We arrived to a super clean vacation rental, with all the amenities you could ask for. The owners checked in with us and answered all of our questions very timely. I cannot recommend this property enough, we were so lucky it was available the week we were looking to visit SML. The property is close enough to the Food Lion, fishing on the dock is super fun for the kids. We brought our own pop up canopy for the deck to have a bit more shade and to enjoy sitting outside on the few rainy days we had.
