Enjoy lake front living in this pristine cottage-esque home on beautiful Crescent Lake; a location away from the hustle and bustle, yet well situated for many four-season outdoor activities.
This newly renovated family-friendly home faces West which allows for phenomenal waterfront sunset views. An expansive deck leads down to a sandy beach area with walk-in water access (perfect for younger children and launching your kayak), and a large dock (which can hold a boat up to 20-25 ft).
The open-layout (living room, kitchen, dining area and 4-season porch seating) is perfect for comfortably hosting 8 people (perfect for two families) and offers lake views from just about every seat. The entire home has been newly renovated (2016); new carpet (in bedrooms), new hardwood floors downstairs, updated, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and fresh paint in every room.
Amenities include: gas grill, 2 adult kayaks, 2 children kayaks, 1 canoe, linens (sheets, towels, beach towels), wireless internet, netflix, and washer/dryer.
3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms, sleeps 8:
Bedroom 1 (downstairs): Queen bed and full-sized futon.
Bedroom 2 (upstairs): The "bunk room" - twin bed with twin trundle, and a twin over full bunk bed (4 beds total)
Bedroom 3 (upstairs): This is a huge master suite with a small deck overlooking the lake. It includes a king bed and a sitting area with a pull-out bed (unfolds to queen bed). The sitting area is great for game-playing, watching TV, and/or quiet relaxing. Perfect spot for children to hang out for some down time!
Bathroom 1 (downstairs): includes shower stall
Bathroom 2 (upstairs): very large bathroom, includes bath tub and shower combo.
Great location for all seasons. In addition to summer water activities enjoy: great trails for hiking (right out your front door); summer activities and winter skiing at Mount Sunapee (just 20 minutes away); leaf peeping in the fall; ice-skating & snowmobiling in the winter.
Crescent lake is located in Acworth / Unity, NH, near Sunapee, Clarement, and Newport. Shopping and antiquing just a short drive away!

Summary: This is our fourth time staying at this beautiful lakeside home. As always the house was warm and welcoming for a group of five adults. The kitchen well stocked for nights of cooking and BBQs. But most importantly is the Deck/Dock I call it. The views of the lake, the tranquility of the setting and the stars at night were simply magical from the dock. Everyone including my two pups enjoyed the rest and relaxation we got! Thanks again and we will be back!

Summary: The property was just as wonderful as the first time we stayed 2 years ago. The location is beautiful, private and peaceful with amazing views and plenty of amenities. There is not much you can think of needing that isn't provided - the kitchen is well set up and stocked, there are tons of games and puzzles and books, and even though it was chilly my daughter was able to take the pedal boat out on the lake. Chris and K.T. are easily reached and very helpful if you have any questions or issues. Claremont is about 20 minutes away, and had more to offer than during our previous stay in terms of restaurants and groceries, if you must venture out! We drove through the fall colors to Woodchuck Cider House in Vermont for cider tasting - it was a long trip but worth the effort! Thanks so much, we will be back!

Summary: This is a wonderful, comfortable house in a beautiful setting. There are stunning views from inside the house and out. Although there were only 2 of us and our pup, the house could easily accommodate a large family. We explored the area daily and took the pedal boat out every afternoon. Lovely!

Summary: Myles Away was very clean, bright, and welcoming. We spent a lot of time on the large deck over the water swinging in the hammock chairs and relaxing as a family. We have a two and a half year old and there were plenty of toys for her to play with, and the water access was also perfect for her. This house came with everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable. Wonderful stay, thank you.

Summary: If you are looking to get away from it all, this is your time away! A calm, peaceful place that cradled us for a week of solitude. The maples arch over the rock encrusted deck for a full day of shade. Plenty of watercraft. Three of us caught and released 38 sunfish off the dock. It is “miles away” from urban centers. Enjoy your time away!
