2 Bedroom Cabin in Hemphill

Welcome to our Hideaway Cove on Toledo Bend. We are located in the Shawnee Shores addition near Six Mile which is south of Hemphill on Hwy 87. This cedar cabin has just about everything that your heart could desire. The kitchen and living room have an “open” concept. After walking through the living room and kitchen, you will walk into an enclosed patio. After walking through the enclosed patio, you will walk outside to the open patio which provides railing and gates to help protect your little ones from gaining access to the yard. While sitting on either one of the back porches, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake along with your favorite morning or evening beverage.
The living room has 2 recliners, a couch and futon along with a Roku TV. However, you will need to use your own log in information in order to gain access to the apps that are on the Roku TV. Additionally, we do have a DVD player that you can use but you will need to bring your own DVDs.
The kitchen has a table that will sit 6 people comfortably and has all the amenities of home for cooking and eating including a microwave and coffee pot maker. There is also a large window unit that provides a/c when needed and heats the home when needed.
This cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed in it and all linens are provided for the bedrooms and for the bathroom (including towels). Each bedroom also has its own window unit that will cool and heat.
The cabin will sleep 7 comfortably (2 in bedroom 1 with the queen size bed, 2 in bedroom 2 with the queen size bed, 2 on the futon and 1 on the couch. However, the cabin is big enough that if you wanted to bring a blow-up mattress or sleeping bags, it could sleep additional people.
Additionally, the backyard has a fire pit for your enjoyment along with a charcoal grill for cooking.
Internet is available. We also have a washing machine and dryer that are available.
Please note: if you are our GUEST, there is a private boat launch in the addition. We are also very close to Six Mile Boat Ramp.
DISCLOSURE: You will notice that we have a boat house sitting behind our cabin. However, at this time, this is unavailable. We do not have any decks on the water to walk on or fish on.
Lastly, at this time, no pets are allowed.

Deposit Amount is $100 which will be fully refunded once you have checked out and the property is inspected.

Summary: This is a very peaceful and laid back neighborhood. My sister and I loved sitting on the back deck just taking in the view. We did a little fishing at the boat ramp and the public boat ramp. We did have a bit of a problem but the host and her team got it fixed right away. She was very understanding and kind.
