Young's Point sits on a peninsula on Lake Bridgeport, 3 sides surrounded by water PERFECT for fishing, skipping rocks and more. This stunning vacation rental offers breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding nature, making it the perfect getaway for families or groups of friends.
Inside the main house is the colorful open concept kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm and enjoy meals with loved ones. We also provide an extra deep freeze for ice, ice cream and freezing your catch of the day! With plenty of seating, you'll be able to share stories and laughter while taking in the stunning views of the lake. The kitchen and dining spills over nicely into the living room where there is comfy seating, a large flat screen TV, a game table and more! The main house features 1 king and 1 queen bedroom, both beautifully appointed for maximum comfort with a pull out sofa. The main house sleeps 6 guest and has one bathroom. For larger groups, the separate bunkhouse can accommodate up to 6 more, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to rest after a day of adventure.
Outdoors, you'll find everything you need to make the most of your time on the lake. Enjoy a game of corn hole with friends or family, cook up a delicious meal on the grill, or gather around the fire pit for some s'mores under the stars. The boat slip and boat ramp make it easy to launch your own watercraft, while the swim platform provides a perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, or just relaxing with a good book.

Summary: It is a beautiful location on the lake! Lots of room for everyone. It would have great to have a guide with all the accommodations were located such as local boat ramp, when the water is too low for the one on the property, game tables, etc….We did not find some of the fun until the night before leaving.

Summary: This is a very well kept property and an overall great choice for our long weekend getaway. We had 4 adults and 5 children split up amongst the two houses and never felt cramped. The property and houses are well maintained. The décor is cute. The communication of the property manager was great. The grill outside was large and easy to use. Plenty of propane was on hand. The patio is well furnished with a myriad of places to sit, eat, and play games. There are a few overlooked details that brought this down a star in our opinion: 1. There is no dishwasher or a drying rack supplied. This really surprised us considering the family friendly nature of the property and that the water is trucked in. A dishwashing appliance would save a lot of water and time with family. Properties with a dishwasher usually request you simply start a load upon checkout. This property requests in the check-out guide to put all used dishes away. It's reasonable and polite of course to leave a property as one left it, but the cleaning fee made us question the value. 2. There is an old high-pressure sodium 24/7 security light on an electric pole between the bunk house and main house. It generates an exceptional amount of noise for the little amount of light produced and kills the ambiance. There are newer LED flood lights on the bunk house that illuminate the area far better and are silent. At least a switch to turn it off would be nice, but it's connected directly to the mains on the pole. 3. There was a toiler paper "tower" to hold spare toilet paper in the bunkhouse bathroom next to the toiler, but no toilet paper roll holder. 4. Pet rule language is inconsistent. VRBO site says not pet friendly. Check-in email says pets not allowed, but a daily pet fee is listed in other places as well as a welcome guide PDF that says well behaved pets are allowed. The property is fairly new/remodeled with high caliber details. For example: the oven/stove combo is a very nice unit, the 2 refrigerators and freezer are awesome, the HVAC system works very well... However, the surprising oversights mentioned above are what keep the property from being a 5 star experience for us.

Summary: This property is really nice! The owners do a great job making sure your stay is comfortable and that you have everything you need for an awesome stay. If you like the outdoors, this is the place for you. Fishing, swimming, hanging out, etc. Loved it! Thank you. Maybe we will bring the kids next time :)

Summary: My wife and I spent a long weekend at Young’s Point just hanging out, fishing, swimming, and doing nothing. We really enjoyed all of the amenities that were provided for our stay and the property was in great shape. Can’t wait to come back with the kids next time!

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay!!. Everything was well kept and well maintained. My family really enjoyed the dock area. It was a nice covered place to have my boat, with easy access from the house. The kids spent a lot of time fishing from the dock. we caught sunfish, catfish, striper, largemouth bass, crappie, and even a couple of gar's from the dock. Overall a nice experience, I will book again.
