Positive: Beautiful location, great decks looking out over the water, living room and dining area both look out over the water. Lots of space to spread out, could easily accommodate a dozen people.
Negative: These are mainly minor things. All of our questions went unanswered with the host because it turned out the booking.com messaging system went to a third party not the actual host and the phone number for the host was not a cell phone so our texts never went through. The house is very outdated, weirdly decorated, and beat up, very cheap crappy furniture, drawers didn't shut, the house number is rotting off the front wall, the front door is broken, sheets and mattress covers had dozens of holes in them and bleach stains, old stained mismatched towels in every bathroom, not enough dishes. The tub was very slippery and very deep with no handles to help you get in and out of it. The upstairs toilet didn't flush well. Both bathroom doors did not lock. Uncomfortable cheap plastic furniture on the decks detracted from the beautiful view. Overall this place could be fantastic. It is nice and roomy. It just needs some sprucing up, new linens, and better décor.

Positive: Beautiful home with great view of the lake. Very generously equipped with the basics for cooking, and comfort. Beds are comfy,
Negative: I did not realize the house was 3 stories, stairs are difficult for me personally. The driveway is quite steep and a bit intimidating. The walk down to the lake was more than I could tackle. The advertisement said there was a spa tub, but I did not find it.
Summary: It's nicer than staying in a hotel or motel and my family really enjoyed the home and the cider!

Positive: Lakeside location was gorgeous and we appreciated having kayaks. Kitchen was well-appointed, which made cooking easy. Everything was clean. Rooms and beds were nice and there were more than enough towels and extra blankets. Having the ping pong table was fun and washer-dryer was handy. Every time we looked for something we needed—extra chairs for sitting outside, an iron/ironing board—we found it. Sidewalk along roadway made it easy to run for a couple miles. We loved sitting on the deck and looking out over the lake with our morning coffee and having plenty of room to spread out, even with eight people. This is a lovely retreat.
Negative: The driveway and parking area are difficult to negotiate with two vehicles. Bathroom pipes are very noisy for people sleeping in the room whose headboard is on the other side of the wall upstairs.
