Great home on the Delaware Bay the NJ side. The house is on a bird preserve so there is a lot of wild life around. In the early summer the horse shoe crabs come lay their eggs attracting many different birds and fish. The turtles also come up and lay there eggs on the property in early July. There is a 100 foot fishing pier part of the home and ideal for the fisherman with a clean station. The home has a full kitchen, AC, Heat, washer and dryer, outdoor shower. The location is also good. 25 minutes to Avalon or 25 minutes to Cape May.

Summary: My husband and I, along with my father, had a wonderful time. Alex was the most hospitable host we ever had. Sunset on the deck was breathtaking. I felt like I was inside a watercolor snow globe.

Summary: The property is overall OK, and we had a great time.Few things to consider:1. The water of the bay are brackish and are not suitable for swimming (not related directly to the property but is still and important consideration)2. The house itself is relatively old, and some areas were very dustyOther than that, we had a great time and the owner was very responsive and helpful.

Summary: - The owner's house is right next door. Not that we were doing anything bad, but it felt like we were being watched. He came by twice during our 3-day stay.- the owner let us know you could go crabbing in the back. We did not do it, but would have been very cool- We really enjoyed the fire pit- Make sure to bring essentials because it will not be available at the property. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwasher pods, lighter for firepit, etc. - This property is not great if you have dogs. The 1st floor, which is where dogs are allowed, is extremely slippery. Our dog, who unfortunately has already been having knee issues, felt significantly worse following the stay.

Summary: Family of 6 stayed here. Plenty of room. We had adventures fishing and crabbing. The pier truly is a thing of beauty. My husband and I had our morning coffee on the docks and as soon as our 11 year old woke up, he wanted to fish. We took 3 days and went into different beach towns. Our favorite was cape may but we loved coming back to this house. Beach closeby was an activity to do for the younger kids. Truly a fantastic time. Our son already asked to come back and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Its remote which we love. Bring board games, food and wine.
