Summary: We were very happy with our stay. Our goal was to rest and relax and this spot was quiet, on the water with access to a private beach and comfortable.

Summary: This is not your modern, shiny and hi tech apartment. It's more of a "walking into your grandparents warm embrace" kind of place. This apartment is quirky and cozy and is set up with everything you might need for a stay of any length, we wish we could have stayed longer. The furnishings are cozy and warm and the bed very comfortable. The views are absolutely breathtaking, one can just sit in the comfortable chairs and stare out at it all day....literally! There's a private beach a few steps away and beautiful Melmerby less than a 10 minute drive away. Art is a welcoming host and genuinely is happy to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Very private and quiet. We'll definitely be going back.

Summary: We can't get enough of the view of the harbour. Its the perfect spot tucked in between 2 beaches within walking distance. This is a 2nd floor apartment so there are stairs but its worth it for the view. The kitchen had everything needed for preparing easy meals. Art is an attentive host checking with us that we had everything needed for our stay We will be back.

Summary: Drove up here after a flight into Halifax. Entry was perfect. When we met Art the next day, he was as congenial and responsive as a host can be. He asked if anything was needed, and we mentioned the coffee pot was in bad shape and we needed another coffee mug. Later that day, a new coffee maker and mugs were at the doorstep! J&C
