This open and sunny beach house has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a game room for the kids with a futon bed! You can sleep 10 people comfortably, for a great vacation with room to spread out!! This family home has a well stocked kitchen, and open floor plan kitchen/dining room/family room, ALL with a view of the mountains and Frenchman Bay.
You have all of the amenities you need!! Gas grill, dishwasher, full kitchen, fireplace, TV, wifi, washer, dryer, and heat for those colder months, an ocean breeze for those warmer days! *There is heat on the first floor only!
First floor: Bedroom 1 with a king bed, and en suite full bathroom.
Family game room with futon bed.
Half bath with washer / dryer.
Second floor: Bedroom 2 with queen bed, skylights and bump out for extra space.
Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and storage, lots of light and a view of the water.
Bedroom 4 has a queen bed, storage.

Summary: Our group of 7 friends enjoyed our stay here. Nice older home with a great view across the bay. The kitchen could use an update on oven pans, and it appeared previous person may not have used detergent in dishwasher as some flatware and glasses had a film, but all easily rectified with a quick wash. Overall, we found the house charming, relatively close to activities, and enjoyed our stay. Recommend.

Summary: My family always looks forward to our annual summer vacation but the Cutler House was truly the best stay yet! The lovely house was spacious, the view from the large windows overlooking the ocean was spectacular, the kitchen well-equipped and all of the rooms were very comfortable and clean. We look forward to returning!

Summary: The moment we stepped into the house, our expectations were exceeded with the wonderful view! We were impressed with the pictures we saw online, but the pictures didn't do it justice. Perfect for a family or a couple families to use to explore the area. Don't let the distance to Acadia hold you back- it was perfect for exploring both Mount Desert Island and Schoodic Peninsula as well as local preserves that were a welcome retreat from the crowds. Great tide pooling in our very own backyard at low tide. Seeing the Milky way and a sky full of stars away from city lights was amazing! When we were talking about our favorite part of the trip on the way home, this house was a unanimous #1 from everyone in our family!

Summary: The location of this property is ideal! It sits between the Cadillac Mountain side of Acadia and Schoodic Peninsula. It is roughly 30 minutes to each and the view across the bay from the backyard is incredible. We spent a great deal of time sitting and taking in the view of Bar Harbor and Cadillac Mountain as well as exploring the shore. The description is accurate---10 steps from the back door sits Frenchman's Bay. The house was also very clean and plenty of room for our group of 8.

Summary: We loved this property and everything was even better than we thought. The location was secluded enough to be private but close enough to Acadia and other attractions to drive daily. The views were amazing and everything on the property was well maintained and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided from towels to trash bags and everything in between. We had a group of ten adults and we comfortably fit in the bedrooms and shared spaces with enough space for cooking and doing various activities without feeling crowded. This was one of the nicest places I have stayed.

Summary: Sure, you can stay closer to Acadia, but with this house, there is no reason to. The view alone will make you want to not leave the house. Add in that this house is very clean, very well equipped and just peaceful. It also has the advantage of being away from the heavy traffic Acadia gets and this is a no-brainer!
