There are three additional courtyards to enjoy, one with fountains, one with shelter BBQ area and the other with a swimming pool. The property is tastefully decorated to a typical Spanish atmosphere.

Summary: The property is in a gated complex one street back from the Harbour, hence the name!.. Tina and Ivan were on hand to sort out entry etc. Unfortunately, due to Covid, the Pool was closed and Hot Tub on the day we arrived but I am sure they would of been amazing. Tina pointed us in the direction of a fabulous restaurant just down the road which we went to many times. There is not a great deal to do in the village except for the Saturday market, so a car is recommended. Ray, the owner has also been amazing during these very difficult times. We found the bed and pillows past there best but Ray has been unable to get to the apartment this year due to travel restrictions.

Summary: I had some bad news regarding my fathers death at the end of the holiday and the owners did everything possible to assist me and even brought me to the airport and returned my rental car to a different airport without even needing to be asked. Fastastic people. And lovely apartment and location. Thank you for everything.

Summary: Stayed in January and early February so was quiet, which suited us perfectly. Weather was good for the time of year, sunny virtually everyday with a coolish breeze at times. Enough bars open to enjoy a walk and drink, plus some tapas. Supermarkets only 10 minutes away. Villaricos has a great market on a Sunday with plenty of fantastic fresh fruit and vegetables. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay. Good to have Sky TV to keep watching my shows, :). The village was very friendly but we didn't get to visit all the nearby towns but kept us very busy. The complex was so clean and well maintained - immaculate and the apartment had everything we needed. Recommended.

Summary: We had a great time in Villaricos and Mocajar. Following a busy week of traveling throughout Almeria, it was the perfect relaxing way to end our holiday. The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful view of the sea and mountains! Would recommend this to others. Happy!
