Enjoy the best waterfront views of Lake Cocolalla and silhouettes of the mountains of North Idaho panhandle from this private sandy beachfront home. Conveniently located just 75 miles south of the Canadian border and 11 mins south of Sandpoint, 40 mins north of Coeur D'Alene this home is situated in midst of a prime summer or winter playground.
The home is carefully maintained and professionally cleaned after each visit. You will find relaxation in the view from from the sunroom, patio, beach, firepit or dock. The lakefront home is tastefully decorated with care and furnished with a rustic elegance. The home boasts tasteful furniture and flooring, Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, granite countertops and bar. A futon sleeper is located in the sunroom, which overlooks the lake and has floor to ceiling windows, offering a panoramic view of the lake. The master bedroom on the main floor offers a view of the lake along with a king-sized log bed and walk-in-closet. Two of the upstairs bedrooms also have lakefront views with queen beds. The natural stone look of the patio, surrounded by native granite boulders, provides a connection between the lakehouse and Lake Cocolalla. From the patio you can BBQ while keeping an eye on the kids just steps away to the beach. Lake Cocolalla is a pristine 800 acre lake, approximately 1 mile across by 3 1/2 miles in length, well suited in the summer for boating, water-skiing, jet-skiing, sailing and windsurfing. You can dock your boat or jet-ski (seasonal) on the property with a free boat launch at the public sportsmans access just 5 mins drive by car at the NE end of the lake. Fishing is excellent for the family from the dock or boat for bass, perch, bluegill, trout and catfish. You can enjoy the 50ft of sandy beachfront by swimming, picnicking, playing in the water, or simply relaxing. Kayaks (2) and a canoe are available to paddle along the peaceful, wooded shoreline while enjoying the scenery and watching eagles flying overhead. In the winter enjoy the waterfront view of the frozen lake which will most years freeze hard enough for ice-fishing, ice-skating, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
Nearby attractions include Silverwood Theme Park (15 mins) Schweitzer Mountain Resort (35 mins /20 mins to ski-shuttle bus at base of mountain) Silver Mountain Resort (60 min to gondola) Mount Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park (78 mins) Lake Pend Oreille (10 mins), Triple Play Family Fun Park (35 mins) and Hiawatha Bike Trail.
