Welcome to Water’s Edge Cabin and Retreat! Water’s Edge Cabin is situated on 7 acres in Randleman, NC. This 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom cabin sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen size master and queen size sofa sleeper. The cabin offers a full kitchen, washer and dryer, screened in porch overlooking the peaceful river, patio, waterfall, gazebo, fire pit, charcoal grill and smoker. All linens, towels, wash clothes, sheets etc. are provided as well as toilet paper and paper towels. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, or relaxing in the hammock or gazebo overlooking the river.
Water’s Edge Cabin is a one bedroom cabin designed to accommodate up to 4 guest. It has one private bedroom with a queen size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The cabin has a screened in porch with porch swing overlooking the peaceful river, fire pit, charcoal grill, gazebo, hammock and 3 kayaks and a jon boat for guest to use.
Kitchen
The kitchen features granite countertops with a full size refrigerator, gas stove, microwave and Keurig coffee maker.
Great Room
The great room features an open living/ dining/kitchen area. The modern-rustic decor features a sofa sleeper with queen size bed, loveseat, chair and ottoman. The dining table seats 4. There is Spectrum WiFi and Cable TV. There is a wood stove for decoration only, not for use.

-Contactless Check-in is 3pm or after. There is key pad at the cabin and a code will be provided.

Summary: This was truly an opportunity for my husband and I to “get away” for a long weekend, as we seldom travel! It was our first trip ever using VRBO so I relied on the reviews of other guests at the cabin. The entire property was so beautiful, serene, and picturesque! The landscaping is amazing with the heavily wooded area all around, creek, waterfall feature, enormous fire pit, giant boulders, and wildlife!! The weather was perfect the entire time - a fall festival in Ashboro on Saturday provided a fun outing!! We ate several meals outside to enjoy the fresh air and scenery! Had planned to use the kayaks (we were not able to locate the paddle boat) but could not quite figure out how to safely enter the water at the banks edge. (Being seniors, we had to be a little cautious 😊). We still enjoyed being adventurous and scoping out all of the area around the property by walking and climbing!! The cabin itself was slightly more rustic than we were expecting, but charming nonetheless!! Would love to return next spring to experience another season of the year!

Summary: The property was beautiful. We used the firepit, gazebo and screened in porch. I wouldn't say this cabin sleeps 4. The pull out couch had no real mattress, I put the cushions from the couch and love seat on the squeaky coils and made that as best I could. We actually left a night early due to the sleeping conditions.

Summary: My wife and I decided to visit NC for our anniversary. We never cared for hotels and tend to go towards cabins. Initially I liked the pictures and decided to give it a go. Literally it was even better than our expectations. The place was isolated and so peaceful. We went kayaking 100 ft from the cabin. The gazebo and fieplace was stupendous. Access to the interstate was within minutes. The stay was one of our best experience and truly recommend this place to everyone.

Summary: Beautiful landscaping and outdoor area, gazebo, hammock, grill outside the cabin and a small, peaceful pond with waterfall running just outside the door of a screened-in porch. Simple layout inside the cabin with updated bathroom and kitchen, charming cabin decor, Cozy furnishings and flat screens in the bedroom and living area. Plenty of lighting options throughout the building. Comfortable bed in the bedroom and the fold-put is what one would expect. Nice fridge, microwave and small gas range perfect for a weekend retreat.

Summary: Great property. The fire pit was really nice and the waterfall feature was a bonus. Host was very quick to answer any questions we had. We were also able to see fireflies on the property and lots of birds. Very central to everywhere we wanted to go in a day. Quiet most of the time with a little traffic noise occasionally. Loved having meals in the gazebo and watching the wildlife.
