4 Bedroom Cabin in Richwood, Lake Park

Year Round Lakehome with Pontoon Included on Leaf Lake next to Big Cormorant! Four day minimum. Four bedrooms (sleeps 8), plus pull out phooton, two bathrooms, family room, living room, flat level beach from walkout basement. Steps are steep going from main level to basement. Covered carport and public lake access not far away. Two lake side decks and on water's edge. 150 feet of shoreline with really only one neighbor close by. Room for 4 vehicles/boat trailers on off street parking. Internet provided and garbage service. Numerous lakes, restaurants, golf courses very close by. Check in at 3pm and check out at noon on days of arrival and departure. Welcome to my favorite lakeplace! P.S.- The coffee maker is a Keurig and there is a drip coffee maker as well. Summary: We enjoyed our stay here. It's a lake cabin and rustic at best with modest accommodations, but the location is perfect: the lake was calm and clear and the beach sandy and clean. There's a nice grill for cookouts, plenty of seating and beach toys, and a pontoon for rides on Leaf Lake--we made use of them all. Good wi-fi too. Some guests might have difficulty navigating uneven steps, though these were not a problem for us, and there are just two window air conditioners to keep the place cool. Mike responded to our questions promptly.

Summary: This lake home is at a perfect location on a smaller lake - the fishing off the dock was great! The owner had just cleaned the weeds from the beach which was much appreciated! The home itself was older as some other reviewers have said, but was adequate for what we needed. Owner has obviously started making many improvements. Unfortunately Hooligan’s has closed, so no restaurant on this lake, but just a short drive to Zorbaz. It is nice that this place comes with a pontoon, although we didn’t use it as we have our own. Only critiques would be that the home could be deep cleaned/bug controlled and the stairs are very steep to the lower level. Owner has great communication! Thank you!

Summary: In 19 summers of a weekly rentals in Minnesota this rated 19th. The cabin was not at all clean. Catpets were stained and dirty. The windows hadn't been cleaned in along time,and some were falling apart. Air conditioners and ceiling fans were filthy and we had to clean them before using. The water smelled like sewer and it was difficult to even shower. One basement bedroom leaked water when it rained.We will not be staying here again.

Summary: The house is hasn't been updated in awhile, but if that doesn't bother you then this is a great place. Plenty of room for the adults and kids and you'll probably want to spend most of your time outside on the large deck, beach, or out on the boat. The house has all the regular amenities you need, plus access to fishing rods, tackle, water toys, life jackets, etc. As far as fishing goes, we caught plenty of bluegill, rock bass, largemouth, and pike. Overall, no complaints.

Summary: We had a fantastic time at Mike's place on Leaf Lake. Beds were comfortable, internet worked great for those that had to log into work a few days, pontoon and pull behind tube were a big hit with kids, swimming area was sandy until about end of dock, cooking pots, pans, plates, glasses were sufficient for our needs. House is older and could use a little TLC, but met our needs for a fantastic family week! Mike was very easy to contact and responded to any issues we had immediately.

Summary: Beautiful property. The lake was fantastic. The house is old, but it had the amenities we needed. Lots of outdoor living space. The pontoon was great. My kids are asking to stay again.
