Summary: Tricky getting our luggage in/out without an any one to hold open the lobby doors or help up the stairs , no elevator or ramps or auto open for doors so not super accessible. Our breaker tripped for our unit at 9 am when I was halfway through blow drying and my husband used the one cup keurig at the same time . There was no one at the desk to help us so a cleaning staff found the breaker box . Beautiful view but we will book somewhere more accessible next time.

Summary: At the edge of the town beside the ferry landing the hotel’s outer appearance does not reflect the inner hotel. I would stay again.

Summary: The room reasonably clean, and the staff were nice, this place needs some maintenance and is in a really horror location. The parking is horrible. A couple of the towels had holes in them. And the carpet needed. A good cleaning.

Summary: On the upside, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was close to the ferry. The building seemed to be in good repair, but there was very limited parking. We chose this hotel due to it being pet friendly, and we were glad to be able to bring our dog. Unfortunately, the room that we were given had been doused in some kind of perfume/cologne, which was overpowering. It subsided somewhat overnight, but gave way to a trace scent of urine, (presumably/hopefully from a previous pet guest). I'm not entirely sure, but it appears as though the cleaning staff attempted to cover up the smell rather than cleaning the carpet. To end with a positive, there was a nice little lounge with a TV and popcorn for kids to hang out in. It's a long, uphill walk to get to the town centre, although there are some quaint shops and restaurants nearby as well.

Summary: The view was spectacular! The bathrooms are small but nice with large rainfall showers that work very nicely. The ‘Beekind’ toiletries are great, which included shower, wash, shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer. They have hairdryers too, but I didn’t try them. The A/C works well, but is a bit noisy. Surprisingly, there is no elevator. But there is only one upper level with one fairly long flight of stairs. This wasn’t a problem for us though. As an interior designer though, I have to say that the architecture and interior design is very peculiar! Strange pieces of furniture that don’t really fit, and strange exterior cladding design! However, the location is very convenient, just 5 mins walk to the port and many restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed Coastal Cookery restaurant for brunch. There is a small kitchenette which we did not use, which includes a 2-burner hob, a fridge and a microwave, but very few utensils and no toaster. There is a Keurig coffee maker with 4 complementary pods of coffee incl. one black tea pod. Unfortunately, there was no kettle as it would have been nice to make a cup of herbal tea. Parking was very convenient as they have several spots behind the building, and there’s also free street parking across the street. All in all, a pleasant stay :)
