Summary: We love that Waves Motel is just steps away from sandy beach of Orewa. Spacious motel with in-room spa. Motel 11 do had some issues with the spa plug n power switch which we had brought up to lady upon checkout. Will stay at Waves again as the location is great

Summary: Helpful and welcoming staff. Lovely spacious room - especially the bathroom. Comfortable bed. Great location to the beach. Nicer curtains and carpets since the last time we stayed :)

Summary: Room was very clean & spacious Only negative was a large tub catching water leaking from the ceiling right outside our door We were on the ground floor & had a lovely private courtyard with outdoor furniture Very handy to the beach

Summary: We started in a questionable way but it was immediately dealt with by getting another room .The room assigned had not been cleaned yet .The next 2 nights were great .

Summary: This is our 3rd night,1st check-in our room was not cleaned so they moved us . The staff person was gracious and moved us immediately. The spa bath did not work and not Netflix .2nd night everything was great . We did not use Ac so we did not notice any issue .

Summary: Our intended room had not been cleaned so they moved us to another.The jets did not work in the spa tub and Netflix was not available throughout our occupancy in that room .The staff were very helpful in resolving the room issue but not the spa or Netflix.
