Summary: This is a neat old home, the small touches inside makes it feel like home. Pictures of Jackson and old buildings with explanations of what it is now was cool to see and look at. Beds are comfortable. Game room was fun to play in with family.

Summary: We came to Jackson to visit our daughter who goes to Union University, and the house fit us perfectly. Lots of historic character. The bedrooms are spacious & comfortable. Good usable kitchen & laundry. The bathrooms are smaller but totally what you’d expect with an older home. Comfortable family & dining room. Communication with the host was quick & easy. Very attentive. The coffee bar was so great!!! Lots of coffee & creamer provided. There is a significant amount of road noise & sirens through the night (since it’s close to the hospital), but it didn’t bother us. The house doesn’t have any lamps, just overhead lights….that’s probably the thing I liked the least, but not major. Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: One of the fun things about staying in a home/house instead of staying in a generic hotel room is opening the door of a property and discovering what's inside. Historic Highland was especially fun because the interior is a bit like a circular maze, with one room leading on into another and then another and another. If you are looking for a spacious home for a family or friend group that is also pet-friendly, this would be an ideal property. The beds are comfy, the kitchen has plenty of space for "gathering" and the bonus is a dedicated dining room. A minor downside is the size of the bathrooms (there are two full and one that has only a toilet) - but this is an old home so that's to be expected. A suggestion: add bedside lamps (some of us love to read in bed) and a floor or table lamp in the living area. The overhead lights are really harsh.Incidentals: off-street, large parking space, quiet neighborhood for walking dogs. Game room where I rediscovered I am very bad at 1980s-era video games...

Summary: My family and I stayed for a wedding over Thanksgiving weekend. I was very pleased with all accommodations! Beds are very comfy, sheets soft, 4 pillows on each bed. Coffee bar with 3 different type of coffee and creamer. Full kitchen set up and ready to cook for a family. It was so cold and I was worried the house would be drafty. Not the case at all! No cold drafts and the heater worked great!!! My son’s favorite part was the game room! It was so nice having the game room for them so I could actually relax!! Location is perfect for Jackson. So many things within walking distance and within 5-10 min drive. If we ever need to stay in Jackson again, this will be where I stay!

Summary: Very clean home with plenty of space and nice amenities. It is next to a main road with usual traffic noise but mostly quiet throughout the night. The home was comfortable and owners are very nice.
