We're open for business after labor day, 2021. We lived here full time through the pandemic and really enjoyed the house. Now it's your turn.
No matter the season, our house is more than just a place to stay. Nestled on almost six wooded acres, complete with a pool, giant hidden separate lawn perfect for lawn games, abundant gardens, and a wrap around porch, the house has everything you need for an idyllic vacation in an idyllic location. Located on the edge of the New York, Massachusetts border, in addition to being close to skiing, the house is conveniently located close to Tanglewood (live music venue), Jacobs Pillow (dance performances) and the historic towns of the Berkshires (Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge). Other activities in the area include hiking in the New York and Massachusetts State Parks, boating, antiquing, a live weekly auction, and theater. Even if you choose to stay close to home, you will have plenty of options for outdoor entertainment, from swimming in the heated pool, to playing badminton or croquet on the large lawn behind the enclosed swimming area, to biking along the rolling farmlands of the neighborhood. At night, lay out on the comfortable deck furniture beneath the endless stars far from the light pollution of the city. For winter adventures, in addition to Jiminy Peak Ski Resort the area includes other options for both downhill and cross country skiing. Ski fans can choose to rent the house for the entire ski season -- usually December 1 through March 30, or by the month, for an attractive, flat fee (plus expenses). Here, there is an activity for ever season and a season perfect for any activity.
The house can accommodate up to twelve people with four bedrooms, three baths, and lots of bonus rooms in the basement. Well appointed, well furnished, and well stocked, with a handmade dining table and chairs, fireplaces inside, a fire pit outside, and plenty of cooking supplies for the passionate chef, this house has everything you need to forget your worries and just have a great vacation. We supply bikes, games, pool toys, and comfort, and you supply the memories and joy. We hope that you will make our country getaway a part of your family traditions.

Summary: Our family really enjoyed our stay.....the house is beautiful, unique and very roomy with everything needed to be comfortable. If you forget to pack something, no worries its probably there!The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishes, glasses, silverware and bakeware of all sizes. The outdoor property is beautiful with large grassy areas for playing sports or just relaxing on the deck or around the beautiful pool. There is plenty of firewood for the pit. Communication was great.....any questions that came up were answered very promptly. We would love to stay again sometime. :)

Summary: We were a family of six in town for a wedding at Jiminy Peak. The house was perfect, and would have accommodated even more. There was room for everyone to have their space. The kitchen was fully equipped. The pool was lovely. Eugene was responsive and personable when I had questions. Five stars!!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this well-stocked home tucked into the woods. The house had everything we needed and was cozy and comfortable. The owners made all the communication very easy and were very accommodating. Everyone enjoyed the pool! The house feels a million miles away in a good way, but was close to lots of fun activities. We went to Mass MoCa and also to the adventure park at Jiminy Peak both of which were easy drives from the house. We hope to go back!

Summary: The property is located in a very convenient country setting. The house is lovely and specious, with plenty of windows all around which allows for the enjoyment of the beautiful tall trees all around the property, even in the cold winter he trees looked beautiful. The house is filled with natural light. The interior is specious and well lit. Some of its furnishings have been updated giving the interior a fresher look. The kitchen counter was also updated and is now a new quartz's counter, which is not reflected on the photos Vrbo currently displays. The owners seem to be in the process of updating other items in the house. The house is well equipped with all you will need in the kitchen; nice bedding linens, bathroom toiletries, fireplace wood, etc. The property has different heating zones allowing guests to enjoy a temperature that suits their comfort. The main living area has a modern thermostat that owners are able to control remotely, if necessary. The main bedroom and other bedrooms have more traditional thermostats that are easily manually controlled. Our large family was able to find privacy and quiet time whenever necessary as the house has several separate sitting areas. We all sat comfortably to have meals together at the long dinning room table. Our family members all expressed their enjoyment and satisfaction with the space the house offered. The property owners are very responsive. cooperative and welcoming. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a token of hospitality that was left for us at the table.

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home in Stephentown. We had so much fun exploring the area, shopping, riding bikes and hiking. We used the pool daily for exercise and relaxation. The kitchen was filled with everything you need to cook family meals along with the barbecuing outside. We especially enjoyed gathering around the firepit at night. It was a great way to kick off summer!

Summary: This property is truly amazing. The house is large, warm and inviting with enough space for any size group. The kitchen is very well equipped. We loved the large back deck with a fire pit and comfortable seating which opens onto a large fenced-in back yard, perfect for children and dogs. The highlight for us was the lovely heated pool nestled in among the tall pine trees. Our grandkids did not want to get out of the pool. The older folks enjoyed relaxing on the reclining chairs and soaking in the peaceful serenity of area. Denise and Eugene are great hosts. We highly recommend this property.

Summary: We loved our stay for a holiday weekend in January. It was a perfect home for our group of 11 - adults and kids, plus pets - for skiing at Jiminy Peak or relaxing in front of the fire. Very comfortable bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, cozy living room and den, nice finished lower level with added sleeping spaces with foos ball table. Backyard for the dogs, lots of firewood, nice bedding and towels. Great communication with the owners before our trip and during our visit for questions. When our friends left an item at the house, the owners were super in helping get the item sent back to our friends. Terrific stay.

Summary: This was quite an enjoyable property to rent. We had 10 of our family together for a weekend and this was the perfect spot. Lots of open space, plenty of rooms for everyone, lots of toys for the kids, beautiful deck which was perfect for movie time one night. Kitchen is well stocked with all your cooking needs, beds are comfortable, and it's just a warm environment to enjoy being together. The owners were delightful and easy to deal with. The lovely welcome wine was so delightful after our drive from Pa. We would definitely rent again!

Summary: A spacious home that was perfect for a 3-gen holiday reunion. Well-equipped kitchen with table large enough for all to gather and plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed skiing at Jiminy Peak and art museums in western Mass. The owners were very attentive and helped resolve some system hiccups promptly. Would love to stay again.
