Quiet stilt home on 1 & 1/2 lots with upstairs deck looking over the canal that leads to the main Weeki Wachee river or out to the Gulf of Mexico. Launch kayaks from the back yard - you can bring yours or you can use one of the 3 we provide. While the property itself doesn’t accommodate putting your boat in here we are less than 1 mile from a marina and we do have a dedicated concrete parking slab that has your boats name on it. Not to worry, its separate from the full driveway. Upstairs is a cozy get away with cable, Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen with a double oven our you can use the gas grill on the upper deck to cook your meals. Downstairs is a bonus room with a queen bed, washer, and dryer and the 3 Kayaks. Fire pit and dock out back.

Summary: Great house on the water. Main living is on 2nd floor so you will get your steps in. Water is great when the tide is in. When it's out you can take the kayaks and head to the main part of the river. Only about a 15 minute paddle to Rogers Park.

Summary: We had the best stay! Too short. We brought our 4 kids (6, 4, 2, and 1) and our 2 dogs.This house had everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. We fished off the dock with the kids, took the kayaks out and saw manatees up close, had a fire, drank coffee on the deck, ate dinners outside. The side yard is fenced in and was perfect for the dogs. The location is excellent. We were so close to everything and were able to enjoy Weeki Wachee State Park too. Owner, Scott, was super helpful and always quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again and can't wait to come back!

Summary: The property was very nice. If you can't do stairs then maybe go to another place. They do have an elevator but could not use it. I understand if something went wrong with it, it could cause a problem since I am sure owner doesn't live close by. But he was very helpful and responded quickly if you need anything answered.
