Our updated cottage offers 5000 sf of living space, including a lake-facing great room with wood-burning fireplace, sitting areas, and desk. The first-floor library has a fireplace with lake and forested views. The dining room seats 8, with plenty of space to spread out or entertain. The lower-level family room has a big-screen TV with sectional for 6, pool table, gym equipment (bike, tread, light weights), full laundry area, and extra fridge for storage. The fully equipped kitchen has two ovens, microwave, and coffee station. Expansive yard with swing, gardens, deck, and fire pit.

Summary: Three generations of our family (7) including two little ones had a wonderful week at this amazing house in an incredible setting. There was a spectacular view, a delightful array of artwork, all you need in a kitchen, lots of bedrooms, lovely outdoor sitting and screened in porch, easy access to a beautiful beach and great swimming. Summary: We truly enjoyed every aspect of our visit to Sheboygan. The home was lovely, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Mary was communicative and accommodating. We enjoyed the private beach, quaint nearby coffee shop and time relaxing listening to the waves in the screened in porch. Highly recommend!

Summary: Very clean great kitchen and living room and basement entertainment. The views of the morning sun rise is awesome best I have seen. I will definitely be looking at coming to stay here again in the future more for vacation than just working

Summary: This house was a wonderful place for our family to spend a week visiting Wisconsin. The back area is gorgeous with several areas to sit at and view the lake. The beach is right there and very private - occasional neighbors walking through at the shoreline but no one anywhere near where we were sitting. Even in August the weather and lake temps were too cold to swim but sitting on the beach was pleasant most days. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Many extra amenities that some rentals don't have. Only rated 4 because the basement bedrooms which we were counting on for our teens to sleep in were not pictured and not what we expected; a little warm/stuffy and not well ventilated. Ok for teens but would not want to sleep there as an adult. The owner was responsive and helpful for a couple of small questions that we had. Highly recommend, especially if you have teens sleeping in the lower level bedroom.

Summary: Loved the private beach getaway for the week. The property was exactly what we expected when booking. The owner did a great job making our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible as was always available immediately to answer any questions. Neighborhood is delightful and the house has so many things to offer from a swing to all the beach toys, chairs, firepit, neighborhood playground, pots/pans/ coffee maker and an updated kitchen. I would give it a solid 4 stars and would stay here again!!!

Summary: Pictures do not do this house justice! You walk in and all you can see is Lake Michigan. It was a true entertaining house with room for all. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances so that we could cook in the beautiful kitchen. And Mary... Oh Mary (the owner)! Your taste in decorating was unique and joyful. You responded quickly every time I messaged you and were so helpful helping us find restaurants, golf courses and other entertainment. I had a terrible experience several years ago with VRBO but you have restored my faith. Thank you again for opening up your beautiful home to us.

Summary: The house was very nice with plenty of room for all of us. It was nice to be able to walk right down to the beach. The beach is pretty rocky but the kids in our group had fun throwing rocks and playing in the water. We brought a kayak and we’re able to launch it from the shore without any difficulty. The house had every appliance we needed and plenty of spices and condiments to use. We played many games of pool, watched movies on the big screen TVs, and the little ones also liked the swing and nature slide! We had a great time. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Summary: Great house and location. Lots of room and a number of amenities. However, we couldn’t get downstairs tv to work and could not lock entry door with the keypad. There were 1-3 gardeners working there 4 days of our trip. As we spent a lot of time outside, it was somewhat disconcerting. Regardless, my family thought it was a wonderful place and we appreciated the opportunity to rent it.

Summary: If you're looking for a home that can host a dozen people comfortably than this is it. There are multiple bedrooms on the main floor with a variety of beds to sleep in as well as several beds in the basement level. A great place for families to meet. The kitchen looks to have been recently updated and has all new upscale appliances with all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. that you would expect in a fully furnished home. There is also a kitchen table that can easily seat 10. Next to the kitchen is the main room with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. This is also the only room in the home that has air conditioning. There are a number of fans in the home strategically placed to help circulate the cool air which helps. That said, on two nights it was very hot and humid outside with little to no breeze. I'm sure this weather is not the norm in July but those nights got toasty in the bedrooms. This is the only reason why I couldn't give it 5 stars. The beach is absolutely fantastic. It's all sand and you can walk to the north through Kohler-Andre state park for miles. Our kids spent every day in the lake and on the beach building sand sculptures. Walking out into the lake, the first 20-25 feet of lake bottom is all small stones. However, once you get past these stones it's sand floor until it gets over your head, probably a good 60 yards out. And then there is another sand bar about 30-40 feet further then that and you can stand again. This was a great place to do some snorkeling. The waves were great for several days and the kids went on boogie boards and kayaks and had a blast. The beach is perfect for little kids as well as older children. A great place to build a fire and roast s'mores at night. We also went out fishing one day and caught dinner. I'd recommend checking the fishing reports before going to get an idea on how the fish are biting. The charter boats were killing it the first 2 days we were there but than the wind shifted and the fish scattered and the hot fishing literally came to a stand still. Nearby there is a local bar and grill which serves decent food and drink if you don't want to venture too far. However, if you drive into the Town of Sheboygan go to Il Ritrivo for lunch, their pizza and pastas are fantastic. It's about a 10 minute drive but well worth it. There's also a Piggly Wiggly grocery store about 10 minutes away that has everything. We cooked just about every meal at the home and just enjoyed the beach.
