Summary: This place has everything you need. The host is very friendly and helpful. Didn’t realise that all of the rooms are separate so you have to go outside to get to each space. We had lots of things planned so it was a good place to set up base. Would be perfect to take kids for inexpensive accomodation.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Very quiet and so close to the city. Sarah was lovely and very accommodating. So nice we could take our dog and would definitely stay there again. The cottage has everything you need.

Summary: We were really happy with the cottage, at first it seems a little quirky but we settled in really quickly and it was great! Sarah was awesome, made sure we had what we needed without being obtrusive, all in all it was a great place to stay with the family and our pets, we would absolutely stay there again.

Summary: We loved our stay at Blackwood Cottage. Sarah is a very friendly & welcoming host, she introduced our toddler to her horses & allowed us to feed her animals which made his stay! My husband was enthralled by the mtb trails which made his stay. The accommodation is clean & lovingly presented. The property isn't fully fenced & beside a working horse arena which meant supervision of our toddler & our dog was a bit more challenging but pros definitely outweighed the cons. We will definitely be back.
