Welcome to Barefoot Beach Villa a spectacular beachfront villa with swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Situated in the quaint settlement of North Palmetto Point, located on the charming Banks Road. Our home can sleep 8 comfortably and is fully air conditioned, satellite TV, wireless internet, fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen with all new appliances and all the comforts of home. Our casual and comfortable beach home is only a few steps to one of the most beautiful and serene pink sand beaches on the island. You will enjoy swimming in the clear turquoise waters, snorkeling among the many reefs teaming with sea life, kayaking, walking for miles on the pink sand beaches, sunning, and most of all relaxing. Enjoy a cool beverage, a gentle breeze and a fantastic view of the Atlantic from the spacious deck, swimming pool or screened in lanai.
*Note there is a $200 weekly fee if you want to have the pool heated.

Summary: Our trip to Eleuthera, Bahamas began with a frustrating flight cancellation. However, upon arrival the next day, the beauty of the house, the beach and the friendliness of the property caretaker, Howard, let us know that we were in for a delightful vacation. The owner of the property, Kirk, even checked in with us to ensure we arrived safely. He was readily available to answer any questions regarding the house, food shopping, etc. The house was beautiful and spacious. It provided us with ample enough room for our family. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The pool was refreshing on those hot, humid, lazy days. However, the beach is the breathtaking centerpiece of this property. The pink sand was so soft, like pillows for your feet. The water was warm and crystal clear. This location, by far, had the best stretch of waterfront amongst it's adjacent properties. If you're looking for a piece of heaven to rest your weary soul, Barefoot Beach Villa is a wonderful choice, a choice we're so glad to have made!

Summary: This property was more than advertised! Our 3 couples are beach people and the beach and ocean were more beautiful and private than we could’ve imagined. We stayed outside 75% of the time and all of the areas were conducive to having a great time. House was equipped with everything we needed and having a washer/dryer was great! Caretaker Howard took care of us and the owners responded quickly to texts. The only negative was the house cleaners didn’t leave the air on when the left that morning and it seemed a 100 degrees when we checked in. We just jumped into swim wear and headed outside. We have already booked for next year!!!!

Summary: This was our first time at Barefoot Beach Villa, but not to Eleuthera. The property is exactly as advertised. The beach at the house is very nice and we really enjoyed the pool. The house is well stocked with beach toys, snorkels, sea kayaks, beach towels and pretty much anything you could need inside and out. We really looked forward to spending evenings on the screened in porch, but found we still were attached by bugs and retreated inside when it was dark. Unfortunately our first night the electric transformer blew on the power line and it took the electric company about 3 days to replace. The backup generator was also down several times during that time leaving us without power. Kirk tried what he could to get things fixed and even offered to reimburse us to stay somewhere else while the power was fixed. After the transformer was fixed we didn't have anymore issues. Howard the handyman for the property was a very nice man, but had a lot of other things going on and we found him not the most responsive. I think this was a one off based on other peoples reviews. Despite some of our troubles, the property is still a great choice. The view of the ocean from the back deck and pool are some of the best on the island. The beach was very nice and we saw lots of sealife including sharks, stingrays, dolphins, and turtles in the ocean. The fisherman/chef recommended was amazing! Hendricks cooked our last night and it proved to be our best (and cheapest) meal!

Summary: This house was the best VRBO rental we've ever stayed in. It had EVERYTHING we could or would need. Snorkels, body boards, plenty of towels, kitchen tools. Our two families of 4 stayed very comfortably. We loved exploring Eleuthera, but if it's a calm sunny day the beach at the house is better than any we went to. The kids LOVED the pool, and we all snuggled in every night to watch TV before bed. Tip, at night walk down the path to the beach and look for fireflies. We wish we could stay another week.

Summary: Property is very clean. House is a little dated but mainly in one bathroom but honestly the view makes up for anything lacking in personal taste. The views are simply amazing! The location is great too! House was very well stocked upon arrival. Would recommend this property. Property owners went above and beyond to fix or address any concern.

Summary: This was the best anniversary trip ever! From the house with everything needed to the amazing pool, beach and views. It was perfect. Caretaker Howard was so responsive to a few minor questions we had and Kirk the owner checked in several times to ensure things were going well. The house and pool are private and beach is shared with only 4 other houses, of which we rarely saw other on the beach. The master bed was VERY comfortable (we only used that room). The island is beautiful to explore and would definitely recommend taking a day trip with Captain Rob with Uncle Robs Great Adventures. He is amazing and will show you the BEST day!! In one day you can feed the sting rays, swing in the middle of the ocean on swings, feed the pigs (who are not aggressive like other islands), to snorkeling over a shipwreck!!! The sunsets on this island are AMAZING and Tippy's was our favorite restaurant with really good food and music several nights per week. I HIGHLY recommend this house and island so much we have already booked our trip to this house again next year! We have traveled to most of the Bahamas and this is by far our favorite island to explore.
