At 2884 sq. ft., this ADA-accessible property is one of the larger at The Lookout with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths on a prime oversized perimeter lot with sweeping views of the Lake and mountains. Perfect for multiple families, a couple’s retreat, or your next family getaway. Summersalts will easily accommodate 13 people in the main house and 15 if you include the Carriage House available for rent in a separate property listing.
With a contemporary open floor plan, this home features hardwood floors, custom wood accents, a chef’s kitchen with KitchenAid appliances, an oversized island, a gas cooktop, a beverage/wine cooler, gourmet accessories, and a 50” linear gas fireplace in the great room.
The main floor king master suite includes extra wide doors and an En-suite ADA custom tiled walk-in shower with heated tile floors. The main floor opens out to a 1,000 sq. ft. covered patio complete with several seating areas; beyond that is a large backyard, complete with a custom fire pit, grill, dining area, chaise lounges, and a large hot tub overlooking the lake. Plenty of space for yard games and gatherings. The entire main level from the front porch, garage, and patio to the back yard are zero-step accessible.
Upstairs at Summersalts, there are 2 identical king master suites; one with a soaking tub/ shower combination and the other with a shower. Both vaulted ceiling suites have large sitting areas with a desk, daybed, and trundle sleeper to accommodate families. Off the sitting areas are a common 200 sq. ft. private deck offering beautiful up-lake views perfect for your morning coffee, a good book, your daily exercise routine (yoga mats included) or to take in a sunset.
Downstairs…kids will love having their own space that includes the bunk room with 5 built-in bunks, reading lights with USB ports, and a spacious media room with a smart TV, PlayStation/DVD, game closet, and plenty of seating. (The extra-long bunk beds would be comfortable for adults as well) A separate bathroom with a shower, locker storage, and laundry room complete the basement.
Our main home features dimmable lighting, and a second fully integrated VSSL wireless 3-zone in-door/outdoor sound system to play your favorite streaming music app or personal playlist. High-speed internet and digital high-definition cable TV service are included. Two Trane HVAC units will maintain that perfect temperature year-round, and 2 InfraRed heaters on the back porch this fall will take the chill off on those cooler Chelan nights. The garage, which can open to the back patio, has plenty of space for your lake toys as well as game tables for your enjoyment.

Reviewer Comments: The home itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location, but the management left much to be desired. Despite multiple calls and emails, we couldn't get anyone to come fix the surround sound system or drop off additional toiletries. They kept creating service tickets, but no one ever showed up at the scheduled times. On a different note, we also found a spider behind the downstairs restroom door upon arrival, which made us question how thoroughly the place was cleaned.It’s a lovely property, but the lack of follow-through and attention to detail was disappointing.

Reviewer Comments: Incredible time had by all!Summersalt easily accommodated our two families.Well equipped home, lots of spaces to all be together but also escape if you needed alone time.The back yard was our FAVORITE space! Outdoor dinners and smores by the fire pit made for a fun and unforgettable week!Close to pool and shuttle down to the lake- great location!Only critique would be to get new pillows for the beds- existing have seen better days and offer zero support. We’ll definitely be back!

Reviewer Comments: While the home itself is beautiful and a great layout for our family, it was very disappointing and frustrating that neither the dishwasher or dryer were working properly. These amenities are a large piece of why our family chooses to stay at Lookout.We did call maintenance during our stay regarding the dishwasher and they informed us that this was a known problem as it was tripping the fuse and they needed to get an electrician out. This was further frustrating as this was not at all communicated until we discovered the issue and the dishwasher was not functioning for the entirety of our stay.Similarly (but did not appear to be a fuse issue) the dryer would not stay on for more than 10 minutes at a time so it is unclear what the issue was?As the caregiver for two elderly seniors and our disabled child on this stay - these amenities were quite integral to our plans for a restful and minimal stress vacation.I called and emailed customer service at Lookout with no response regarding these issues.

We call regarding the indoor gas fireplace and the guy said he will be there is 5 mins. Never showed up. and it was weird seeing maintenance workers every am checking on the Hot tub at First we had no clue who they were. Some notice would be nice a head of time.

It was really clean, there were plenty of kitchen stuff, utensils, dishes and even different spices! The huge advantage was hot tub. everyone was so excited about Summersalts! also, we had so beautiful walk to Chelan downtown, which took us just 25 minutes. so I’m highly recommend renting this house!

We were very impressed with our accommodations the property was in great shape. Hot Tub, Fire Pit, BBQ, outside heaters made the outside patio experience fun and comfortable. Shuffle board in the garage added to our experience. We will recommend this property to all our friends and family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I recently enjoyed our annual family vacation. This year we chose the Summersalts Home at The Lookout at Lake Chelan. This vacation property is the best home we have rented throughout our ten year history of vacation getaways. The floor plan is excellent ~ laid out to allow for "alone" time without being too far from the ongoing activities. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cutlery for large gatherings. There are kitchen appliances for any task or cooking style. The beds were comfortable. The bunk room downstairs adjacent to the bonus game/gathering room is perfectly located allowing "kids to be kids" without disrupting any of the other home occupants. The backyard had numerous gathering areas including an area with adirondack chairs circling a gas firepit. Additionally there was a hot tub on property and a small plastic wading pool for little ones. The poplars lining the north side of the lot provided a terrific and much appreciated "sun block" from the afternoon wind and sun. Our entire party, nine of us, all enjoyed everything about our stay here.

Somersaults is in an easy central location within The Lookout, close to pool, pickleball and playground. The entire house is decorated and finished with high quality and tasteful materials. We could have moved in ! The kitchen was very well equipped, a plus for our cooking group. We had a wonderful time celebrating two family birthdays ! Thank you.
