Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the stay was comfortable and positive. Enjoyed cottage and stay and would rent again. Thank you. Only critique was kitchen counter had crumbs as though someone had eaten recently and not cleaned up. Some of cushions on couch facing tv had an odor. Otherwise bed comfortable, rooms and cottage spacious and view lovely.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my second time staying at Water Rock Escape. It is truly a relaxing get away! Hiking and exploring during the day, wonderful restaurants a few minutes away (I recommend Boojum's and Bogarts), and then heading to the porch to listen to the water rushing down the creek is the perfect, peaceful, relaxing end to your day.The cabin is perfect and feels secluded even though it only takes 5-10 minutes to get to town. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen has everything you would need should you want to cook. I am already booked to see the leaves in October and can't wait to use the fireplace! Don't hesitate to stay here!

One of the reasons we stayed here. A call was placed to the owners and they didn't return phone call. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

The best part was coming back to Water Rock Escape, propping our feet up on the spacious porch and listening to the sounds of the water and taking in the gorgeous view. We will be back!

Summary: We loved our stay at this home. It was spacious and nicely decorated. The home was comfortable, clean, and it was great to have a restroom on each level. The deck was wonderful, especially with the sound of the waterfall just below. My family and I had a great time in this relaxing home.

Summary: The house could use a good cleaning and the sheets were all very worn, pilled and dingy. Bathroom vanity was filthy in larger bedroom. Tv didn’t work in upstairs bedroom and most of the remotes didn’t have batteries. The kitchen was fairly stocked but no toaster or pot holders and only one kitchen towel. Refrigerator filter was 70 days overdue to be changed. They should also warn people of the extremely steep driveway. Overall we made due but would not have been happy if staying more than two days.
