Positive: Beautiful cottage. Very well equipped with so many extra touches. Everything was spotlessly clean and a very thoughtful welcome pack was there on our arrival. Stunning views from the property with a lovely outdoor seating area which we used a lot! Holmfirth is a walk down the hill but we used ubers very easily and cheaply to make our journeys quicker on our weekend trip so that's worth considering in advance.
Negative: Nothing.... Everything was to our liking!

Positive: Beautiful old character house, with all mod cons, very comfortable, loads of big fluffy towels, everything you need was there. Even had a fire escape, provisions should there be a power cut. Lovely treats left for us. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Negative: The lounge was very dark even on a bright sunny day and the en-suite was the tiniest ever experienced.
Summary: Very relaxing which due to circumstances beyond our control was just what was needed!

Positive: Wells Cottage is a beautifully appointed property boasting stunning views over Holmfirth. The owners have thought of everything especially in terms of kitchen equipment. The wood-burning stove was delightful to create a relaxing ambience in the lounge and the dining table was perfectly positioned to take in the views. The beds were extremely comfortable. The welcome hamper was so generous and of a high-quality and included delicious handmade local chocolates and special biscuits for our canine pals. Having an outbuilding to clean down the dogs and boots, after enjoying the walks that are right on the doorstep, was brilliant. Just perfect!
Negative: We loved it all.

Positive: We loved this cosy cottage with a big view. There was plenty of space for us (group of 5 friends) and everything was well thought out and comfortable. Our host was very helpful and responsive. We went for a lovely walk right from the door and also walked into Holmfirth and back. Also: a shower with a view!! Amazing.
