Summary: Nice hotel on a winery, different experience versus a normal hotel. Self check in and we didn’t see anyone from the place for the 2 days we spent there. Not really an issue but good to know. Our air conditioning didn’t work on our last night and there was no one to tell and fix it. You don’t go there for the winery or the wine but location is ok, very quiet around, you need a car. Room was large, bed was comfortable and it was clean. The view on the lake was great! Breakfast is muffin, yogurt and fruit. They have self serve coffee and tea.

Summary: Enjoyed a great stay here for our wedding anniversary. The guest suites themselves are well sized, we had a nice view over the vineyard and lake. They included a coffee maker and everything you need for the stay. The staff took great care of us for our anniversary, making up a nice charcurtie board for us. After we had our included tasting they left a bottle of our favourite wine for us in our room. The location is well placed if you want to walk to wineries for tastings. We didn't have a car for this trip and we just walked from winery to winery for our tasting. Then next morning we walked into town. Its a nice walk and most of the way is on a dedicated pathway. Being late October there were no restaurants nearby for dinner so we did need to get a car into town for dinner, but if you went in summer then the Hillside Bistro is open and its just a few steps away.
