Come enjoy yourselves only 5 miles to the West entrance of Glacier National Park in this cozy log home perfect for families. This home features 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a beautiful outdoor patio with BBQ and outdoor fire pit, and a heated seasonal pool all within walking distance to Lake Five.
The bedrooms include the master, located upstairs, with an attached bathroom and a large jacuzzi tub. The master also has a private balcony with views of Apgar Mountain in Glacier National Park. On the main level, there is a spacious county kitchen completely stocked for all your cooking needs, an open living room with Dish TV, and a dining room that seats 6. On the lower level, there are 2 bedrooms plus a second living room area. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has a full size bed. Also on the lower level is a full bathroom with a tiled shower. You can access the yard and all the amazing flowers via a beautiful french door. You will have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy yourselves at our cozy Log Home Retreat only minutes to Glacier National Park west entrance. And don't forget the Pool (that closes Labor Day weekend)!!

Summary: The log cabin is beautiful. Plenty of room and comfy chairs for the 5 of us. Saw whitetail deer from the deck. Family enjoyed relaxing by the pool/patio in the evening.

Summary: The house is even nicer than the pictures, and very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable, and the location and gardens were lovely. The master suite, which occupies the entire second floor, was beautiful, with a wrap-around porch (though no furniture), and there were other outdoor spaces on the ground level that we would have very much enjoyed had the weather cooperated more. Sandie was an excellent and responsive hostess, and even brought us fresh eggs from her chickens!

Summary: Located just outside West Glacier, this log home was perfect for our 3 days of touring Glacier National Park. Sandie's warm greeting and gift of fresh eggs made us immediately feel at home. Since we had breakfasts and dinners in, we appreciated the kitchen with lots of spices, pots, and pans. A beautiful setting, a beautiful place.

Summary: This is a very attractive and well-equipped cabin in a private location on a piece of land but very close to the West Glacier. The owner is helpful and friendly but also gave us privacy. We really liked the pool, the outdoor tables, and the corn hole. We were surprised to learn how close we were to a very active railroad. The number of trains overnight differed from night to night but one of the nights it was really frequent and visitors should be prepared.

Summary: We enjoyed the home and it's owners. Very close to Glacier, clean, had everything we needed. The train is loud but we downloaded an app with whitenoise to help drown it out. We would stay here again.

Summary: The house was clean. The property is very run down and neglected and full of weeds and dead grass and bugs. Many ant bites if you try to be outside. The owner doesn't leave a key or code to enter, but insists on a meeting when you arrive. She wanted to know everyone that would be staying there and when we would be gone during the days. They stay on the property in a trailer behind the house. They were over at the house numerous times a day to tell us to turn down the AC or remind us that we had a light on when we left. She came over when we were outside eating asking what we were having and what our plans were every day. She came in the house several times when we were gone and told us about it later because she didn't like something she saw. We love VRBO and use them a LOT, but won't be back to this one.
