Positive: Superior king room - has a fab view of the sea and islands. Bed was comfortable. The room was very quiet and peaceful. We didn't hear any other noises which meant we had a great sleep. Location was great near the station. Shower was nice and products in room were good.
Negative: Asked them if they were able to put something in the room for my husband as we were celebrating a big birthday. The hotel messaged and offered to put beer in there and took preferences. When we arrived there was nothing in the room. Said this to the woman on the reception desk and she couldn't be less bothered. She said that should have been done, but nothing more was offered or done during our stay to make it special. I realise we aren't that special , but it's the little touches that make a stay great. I also booked the restaurant in April (we went in August) and when we arrived it seemed that they struggled to get us in and we didn't have a table in the main section where the amazing views are. Considering it was booked 4 months in advance, I thought maybe our booking might have secured the better tables. The room was fine but it was expensive for what it was. The woman on the desk said it was because I booked through booking.com and therefore I had paid 40 pounds more than I would have done..seemed strange to blame the customer for being overcharged. 235 a night and breakfast wasn't included so had to pay an extra 16 pounds per person. Just a little thing - all the bulbs on the room were different, warm white, bright white. Try to match them.
Summary: Great views

Positive: Perfect position with beautiful view, room had everything you would need. Dinner and breakfast very good.
Negative: Breakfast wasn't included in the original rate. Once added on, it was more than I would have liked. However, as everything was lovely, it was worth it.
