Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Jenise, the house manager, whose hospitality and professionalism were commendable throughout our stay. The villa itself was exactly as advertised—picturesque with a private pool, and all amenities in place for a relaxing vacation. However, our experience hit a snag when it came time to settle our bill. Despite the booking website indicating card payments were accepted, we were informed that the villa did not have a working card swipe due to recent management changes. This was surprising and inconvenient, as it required us to arrange a cash transaction, adding an unexpected task to our vacation agenda. While this issue stemmed from the owner's oversight in updating the property's facilities as advertised, Jenise went above and beyond to accommodate us amidst this challenge. She worked diligently to find a mutually agreeable solution, demonstrating flexibility and understanding. It's important to differentiate between the exceptional service provided by Jenise and the administrative hiccup related to payment options. Jenise consistently ensured that nothing onsite posed a problem for us, and her proactive communication, although received on our travel day, was indicative of her commitment to guest satisfaction.
