Positive: Excellent location close to the 2 beaches. Friendly hosts. Dog friendly
Negative: The one room studio felt a little cramped. No freezer or freezer compartment in fridge.

Positive: Basic accommodation, but such nice touches, Bernadette provided fresh eggs from her chickens, bread , milk and butter on our arrival. Lovely big comfortable bed, and a lovely garden to sit in in the evening. Oh, and a lovely jug of wildflowers. Really nice.

Positive: Lovely owner and great location, peaceful and quiet. Well stock up kitchenette.
Negative: Mold in the bathroom, from window sill through shower and silicone seals to grouting. A chest of drawers would be nice to put clothes away instead of living off the suitcase.

Positive: Great location and a clean, comfortable studio. The hosts were welcoming and provided top-notch hospitality. Enjoyed being greeted by Harley and felt safe knowing he was on the job, haha. The property itself is beautiful and smells wonderful due to all of the different plants. I could have stayed a lot longer and been perfectly happy.

Positive: The sun glowing across the bright green fields; the sound and smell of the sea riding on the breeze; the shady willow tree bursting with you g life, including very diligent parents feeding their nest if baby crows; and charming, accommodating hosts who thought of everything. Amazing food in Fethard, ranging from the best fish and chips ever, to a grand Sunday roast and fabulous high end Mediterranean at Georgio's - even Dillon's shop has everything a body could need. I will return!
Negative: Leaving. It was so blissfully peaceful, and just a pleasant walk to the village, the castle, the Quay, and the beach.

Positive: Really nice location with easy access to the coast and various attractions, including Hook lighthouse and several garden / arboretum type properties. The apartment has everything needed for holiday letting and the double bed was very comfortable. The owners were most friendly and welcoming and on hand to offer local advice about places to visit. As we had brought our two dogs with us it was also much appreciated that the owners have their own, very well behaved and affectionate dog! In the evening and during the night there wasn’t a sound to be heard apart from the distant roar of the sea. I suspect that locations nearer to the village might be somewhat noisier, especially in peak summer season.
Negative: The only small issue was the presence of several nesting crows who targeted my car with pinpoint accuracy! To be fair, it was peak nesting season and crows play a useful role in nature.
Summary: An excellent choice of venue and a fascinating area to visit.
