Positive: Omg the stars, that was the first ever experience in my life to see so many stars in the sky, it was so dark, and quiet. We spend about 15 mins in the night to find the entrance, it’s quite far from nearest town. But there’s different animals in the stay, and many trees with fruits.the price is so worth it! It’s so worth it. Recommend to stay but for your own safety pls arrive earlier before the sky gets too dark.
Negative: The facility is quite old, the water pressure is quite small.

Negative: Drive way needs attention as ruts are so deep will scrap your car... Needs maintenance in areas .. Not very big kitchen and lounge, toilet facilities if all dorms were full of quests..

Positive: - The owner (and also the existed flatmates) is so nice. - The bed is better than I thought (double bed room) soooo comfy and privacy. - even the kitchen is small, I observed that the owner provided a lot of utensils and kitchen tools, all is well-maintained.
Negative: - too many bugs, especially if you keep opening the windows (both common areas like kitchen and living room and you own room if) - male shower room is outside the house (actually, it's located at the same building but you have to go outside the front door first).
Summary: Worth of money, so pitiful that I didn't stay for more night.

Positive: This is a good farm accommodation with the lovely host and backyard. Handy to drive as it is just 10minutes to its small town. The set up and the stuffs in the chalet brought back my childhood memories of visiting my grandparents during school holidays. It’s also good to show my little girls how does the old radio and other appliances look like. Heidi was also kind enough to show the girls the farm and they have really loved it. If you are passing through Hawera and needing an accommodation and want some quiet moment, come to this place.
Negative: Probably just to upgrade the kettle.

Positive: the quiet and nature all around, the owners were friendly, wish the weather had been better to sit outside on the balcony having a drink in setting sun over Mt Taranaki
Negative: soap had run out in the bathroom and micowave on the fridge, too high , bit of a health hazzard and way too high for my partner, could have done with a bath matt for coming out of the shower
