Summary: This property is close to multiple skiing resorts & was a great base to try out different areas in Vermont. Then after a full day you could come back to relax in a comfortable home with a hot tub...which the kids loved! Great communication with the property owner to manage any maintenance needed such as snow removal and recyclable pickup!

Summary: We enjoyed our visit - the location is in the Vermont woods, yet only 10 minutes to the village. Bromley and Stratton are 12 minutes away, Magic 18 minutes; Okemo and Snow under 40 minutes. The location is private, the home is kept clean, the property owner works unbelievably hard to make sure that the visit is perfect. The hot tub is located inside a sunroom, so you don't have to dip your toes in snow for that after-ski soak. There's no mountain or ocean views from this home which is my requirement for a "5" rating. The's peaceful seclusion as you can't see or hear any neighbors - a true feeling that you are in the beautiful Vermont countryside.

Summary: We were looking for a place to hideaway but also be able to ski a day or two. This was it. It was big enough for a family of four with two dogs. Yet, it had the cabin coziness we wanted. The hot tub was an added bonus and the views from it we spectacular. If you come up in the shoulder season, be aware that most of the near by restaurants are on limited hours or closed. Given that Manchester was a short drive down the hill, this was not an issue for us.

Summary: We stayed in this lovely home for a full week and skied at Stratton -- a short 15 minute drive. As others mentioned in their reviews, this house has a very secluded feel and a lot of privacy, which was great since we brought along our dog. Would love to explore the property in other seasons, as you can tell that they've put a lot of effort into all the outdoor property amenities. Communication with the owners was prompt and super friendly. LOVED that this home was stocked with so many things in the kitchen, as we cooked every meal for ourselves. The pantry and freezer items were really nice touches, too, which help put this house among our top rentals.

Summary: Had a great time, home has everything you need, perfect for a family, secluded, middle of nowhere feeling yet is very close to Stratton Mountain. Also, Manchester is a quaint town nearby with a lot of shopping options and restaurants that are much more reasonable then Statton which is nice but pricey. Overall great trip and great place would definitely come back again.
