Positive: Apart from the place itself which is really charming and situated in a nice little village, the highlight of the place are the people running it. We had some car trouble and arrived at around 9pm after the kitchen was closed, but the chef-patron was kind enough to turn the fryer on (without us asking) for us and make a couple of pizzas after out long drive. The lady behind the bar was also super kind and friendly and we were absolutely delighted with our over stay for the night before continuing our travel. On top of that the chef makes a delicious stout that puts the likes of Guinesss to shame. Would recommend without any reservations, the place is great, the people even greater.

Positive: Good sized room on the ground floor which was ideal given we had our dog with us. Tea and coffee facilities and complementary toiletries were very welcome. Not only was the bed nice and big but super -comfy too. When we arrived the room was quite cold but the heating was easily adjusted and it soon warmed up.

Negative: The only thing we struggled with was the bed was a bit small .saying that we are used to a 6ft bed .it was comfortable though.
