Upon arrival you'll be greeted by a stunning valley, looking out across rolling paddocks and your own quiet peaceful cabins. Only 13 minutes drive to Whakatane, and 9 minutes to awakeri. One cabin has the Queen bed and modern bathroom. The other has a full Kitchen, dining and living space, joined together by a large deck that catches the afternoon sun across the valley. Your only neighbors may be a couple of sheep or the odd cow. he space
The cabins have a smart TV and Netflix. The Queen bed has a electric blanket for the colder nights.
The owners (young family)house is around 100 metres away so your peace will not be interrupted by anything. There is plenty of room for your car, camper, trailer and boat next to the Cabins. Very secure well off the main road. A filleting bench is available if needed.
Phone reception is pretty limited in the valley but there is good WiFi at the cabins.
The cabin are on a farm we have (depending on the time of year) calf's lambs and a goat in the paddocks, and chickens and a border collie up at the house. Feel free to say hello to our animals.

Summary: Overall very good and quite peaceful. Plenty of hot water for showers and great bed. Some of the kitchen appliances ie toaster were a bit old. We also thought it would be a idea to keep the dog away from the units. He peed up against rhe buildings and wanted to come inside. Would use again.

Summary: Great Outlook over farm Paddocks. Very quiet Location. Great little set up with Bedroom in one unit and Kitchen/ Lounge in the other with a covered deck between the 2 units. Very Happy with our stay. Fresh Baked Bread was a nice touch.

Summary: Two cabins located in the Bush, surrounded by farm land. We arrived late and it was super chilly but Sophie put the heating on for us. There is also a heat pump in the bedroom and electric blankets so we were cosy! Basic amentities for all you need. We arrived to homemade bread too and a range of hot drinks to choose from. Would like to stay again! Thanks

Summary: Right from the booking to the checkout, we were very please to deal with our host Sophie. She was very accommodating as I had to shift my dates a day ahead. The place is very surreal, overlooking the farms and it was very peaceful. Perfect for our small family of 3 including a 6 year old. The cabins themselves are very neat a tidy. A very comfortable bed too. Sophie was kind enough to make a special bed for our boy. If you just want to stay and do nothing, they also have Netflix for a few good movies and shows. The data on the wifi is also quite fast. Whakatane town is only 20 mins drive from the cabin. Overall we a had a good experience and we highly recommend this place for a good get away.

Summary: Cute little cabins (with tiny house feels) with lots of privacy and peace. It was an amazing stay at the white pine bush lodge with views towards some farmland and hills in the distance. The cabins were kept nice and toasty and generally quite tidy and clean. Sophie was an amazing host and was really friendly and easy to communicate with. Recommended for anyone who wants to stay somewhere rural but not too far away from town as well as enjoy a bit of rural feels while having the privacy and necessities of a modern home.
