Positive: What a lovely cottage. If you get the chance to book it don't worry about food, the fridge was full and there was everything you needed.. Bed really comfy, spotlessly clean, fluffy towels and George was a great host, wealth of knowledge and he kindly gave us his National Trust passes to get into Culzean Castle, which is⁹ worth a visit.

Positive: Lovely location and facilities, with everything you need and perfect for some down time. Exceptionally clean with lots of added extras such as snacks and drinks. We were met by George, who was lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely return.

Positive: Our host, George, could not have been more helpful. The accommodation is an old cottage, thoughtfully renovated with great facilities provided throughout. We were advised that George provides bread, butter, fruits etc, however the quantity and quality of what he provides is amazing and very carefully thought out. With Calzean on the doorstep and amazing walks all round, it is an absolutely fabulous place to visit and stay.
Negative: There is nothing to dislike about this accommodation.
Summary: An amazing hideaway perfect for an overnight, or longer.

Positive: Excellent location . Easy access to the beach, plenty of things to do in the immediate area but tucked away in peaceful cottage . Beautiful garden and lovely decking with comfy seating. Great welcome pack for snacks and drinks.

Positive: My son and I were doing a tour of western Scotland and came across this place as it is very close to Culzean Castle (fantastic). Space was small but had everything we were looking for and more. The proprietor, George, was very friendly and seemed proud of his property. We got there a little late and were hungry so he made reservations for us at a great restaurant (possibly best food we had in Scotland). Would definitely recommend Whitestone for those looking for a base of operation.
Negative: Nothing. However, turns out George is an ultramarathon runner so when he tells you something is just a short walk, be wary.😀
Summary: Beautifully renovated historic property with a very pleasant proprietor.
